this is to explain myself(obviously that includes ROBOPOPE). I have not and would never steal pictures from artists. I have drawn these by hand and have been inspired to draw these. so please stop telling me I'm stealing.
EDIT: FAC, I Apoligise if the pics look too much like the original artist's. these were inspired (not stolen). I won't ever put up a picture that is blantly stolen. as a artist, I know what its like to have work stolen so I 'm not going to such lenths. I hope I have cleared my name to y'all. _________________ The Most Dedicated Mortal Kombat site up now

Making threads like this only makes you more suspicious, when one is confident about their innocence, they don't go overboard in proving it. _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

S'not just stealing, it's tracing. And if it looks close enough to be traced, we will probably regard it as such. In FAC, once you're convicted, it's probably not likely you'll be able to climb outta your hole, because we don't convict people till there's enough evidence of the offence. Let it be said that you were unable to prove your innocence at the hearing, so your art is gone.
Do not discuss this further. If you really have a problem with what happened, contact a staff member at support@fanart-central.net and have them reevaluate what happened. _________________

Copy art (which includes both references & traces) is a difficult subject for us to define policy on, so in the meantime it gets handled on a case by case basis.
If you have an image which directly builds upon the work of another artist (such as recolorings of official pics, pics drawn through the use of overlays from the source pic), that qualifies as a trace/edit, and it is not allowed as a rule.
Using a picture from a reference, while still doing all your own work (no overlays or recolors), does NOT count as a trace.
I've already asked Jenniberry for more information on this matter. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA
