Sorry About Emo Description

I'm just posting to say maybe I don't know all the facts about emo. I just got cranky when everyone was making fun of the emo genre. I had no right to, and am sorry for the rude comments I posted. Hope all is forgiven.

By the way, that was a great argument! You guys sure know what you are doing! Anyways, hope we can argue over something again. + I didn't know music was your life, so it was my mistake for claiming I was the Music Encyclopedia.

I'm not one of those who were offended... so I can't speak for them, but we all make mistakes... I forgive you. Anyways... I used to have a topic up about dragons... and there was some pretty good debate there... I really don't think anyone can prove dragons don't exist with facts... all the facts are in dragon's favor...

Yeah, no problem. It was about time for that thread to be closed anyway, since emo was defined within the first page.

Just try not to take any of the arguments personally (given that hair metal is my favorite genre, I'm in the same boat with it being considered a joke. Ya just have to agree with what's true and laugh along with everyone else).

I don't generally take insults to my music, [or anything else, really] personally, but I do feel like if I believe in something, I have to protect it... honestly, I think too many people open their mouths against things without thinking about it... I mean, I think half of those people debating the whole thing could be totally pwned by anyone that actually knew... [not claiming I do... for the most part... I'm just as clueless as anyone else...] I think that strata could have pwned them... the only thing that I actually take personally are dragons... I will defend them to the bone!

Emo is (in my opinion) one of the WORST fads that has ever hit the World. Just for the fact that it's one of the most annoying things of all time.

I can see the whole Bod Mod thing cause you have to have some damn BALLS to have yourself branded, but emo.. emo is s**t. Basicly. Sorry if that pisses you off, but that's what it is. At least to me.

I love LP and I don't consider them emo, so I see it when people call LP emo pisses some people off. (because LP was around BEFORE emo.. please people think about it...) So.. yeah, but everything else, all these new little bands... what the f**k ever.

Turn off the GC and crank some GNR or f**k it if you don't like them, get OZZY or some s**t. Just anything but Emo...

Who? The people arguing against emo? Strata, from everything I've seen since he joined, is not exactly a music fan. And, I might add, "someone who actually knows" would be me and probably the person who started this thread if he could've stopped being offended and bitchy.

The emo thing was settled, this person has apologized, let us never speak of it again (until the next bandwagon brat comes along and wants to talk about it, of course).

honestly... I didn't really want an arguement in the first place... just a description... it's just weird how... like... everyone seems to want to make everything an arguement... see "help alpha" I started that thread because someone needed help in a class... and it turned into an arguement about if he really needed it or not! why does everyone have to argue? but I would like to say this [not to start an arguement... just to state a fact] Linkin Park was not before Emo... the way I see it... emo was started by Everclear, who were a long time before LP...

Anyhoos... arguing is bad... unles the person who started the thread wanted an arguement... in which case... it's allowable.
