It's good comedy.

As much as Axl seems born to entertain...the only thing that performance is is hilarious. Good lord he was terrible. I suppose the crab walk and running around weren't much more refined, but they were still better than that.
Good thing he grew up. Lost his mind and maintained the temper of a five year old, but grew up nonetheless.
Izzy's there too, but Izzy's always been cool. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I'm probably the only loser who watched this video as soon as I read the name "Axl."
Holy crap, Axl looks like a little spaz in this. Sounds like one too. But I totally love the half-assed head banging. It makes him look so cool.
I was actually on the phone with my boyfriend while watching that and he's a GnR fan too but when he heard the music playing he was like
"Wtf? Sixx what the hell is that crap?"
"Axl Rose singing before he was in GnR. He kind of sucks right now."
"Kinda?"
"Okay, he sucks a lot."
"How old do you think he is in this?"
"Not sure. Probably like eighteen or nineteen."
"Didn't he go nuts when he was older?"
"Yeah"
"Oh, okay....Sixx?"
"Yeah?"
"Can you turn this s**t off?"
"...'Kay."
So yeah, not one of Axl's best but I laughed. But I guess you have to see and hear the whole thing in order to see the humor in it. My boyfriend only heard the singing and thought it was some of the shittiest music he ever heard.
Go Axl. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

It's rather similar to his older singing, just higher and cleaner. Don't remember who it was, might've been Tracii, who said he preferred Axl's "hanging out at sound check jamming" voice as opposed to that high pitched thing he developed.
But hanging out with the likes of Hanoi Rocks and weaseling his way into the scene worked out. Everyone has humiliating childhood moments. And I love seeing them. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Wow, interesting to see Axl from another angle. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |
