I remember all those MTV channels from when i lived in the UK, it was annoying remembering all the channels, i hated looking through the sky digital menu.....oh my god, i just had to type menu ten times before i spelled it right, lol....any how. We only have tow channels over here. In england, those damn people annoyed me to, to much pop, and everything was to silver, white, with dots on the background of fucked up shapes it seemed. pissed me off....and i was so happy to get away from nick over there (cartoon channels dumbasses) because of those stupid presenters.

HELLO! we don't need presenters, just the shows and music. And now, cartoon network looks just like they're damn nick over in england, with badly dressed presenters, once fat and annoying, the other is this black girl with the worst hair do ever. my friend jessie, who is black, i made look at it one night, and she cracked up. I know i'm off topic, sorry.

But god damn, i hate carson daily! Please god will someone just kill him. And the tv presents i can remember is that so called rock guy with the bald head, kind of round, lol, and sway, the black dude who does all the r&b and rap and s**t. and some asian chick and all that s**t. who cares though, they can all go to hell. damn you MTV!!!!! f**k OFF

I think you're talking about Iann Robinson, who does the news presenting sometimes. He's kinda cool. I mean, he wears a Metal Sludge jersey on the show sometimes and writes letters to the site (one explaining why MTV didn't run a single thing on the rhode island club fire, how he wanted to but doesn't get to pick any of the news reported). But I agree, he's an annoying bastard who really tries too hard to appeal to the nu metalheads. <_<

lol i loved how this summer (i dont know if they're still doing it) Mtv was trying to get back its 80's popularity by using the "retro" ads and logos. it was really pathetic, and it was at the same time that vh1 was doing the i love the 80s shows. hehe Mtv is such a loser.

yea those cartoon network presenters are really annoying (as is iann). i love cartoons and cartoon network (mostly for the anime) but now it's just a nickelodeon/disney wannabe, which is kinda sad since nick and disney suck. (hehe except for those disney channel movies- my friends and still watch those... Razz

Well, every1 seems 2 despise MTV, we dont have MTV in Australia. We got Channel [V]. Other than that we got about... 2 other music channels. Music Max (I think, never watched it) n then we got some country music channel.. I think. I'm not much of a Cable TV watcher. Fox8 n comedy channels r the only ones im at 'regularly'. [V] is crap. It wasn't 2 bad a few years back. But now it's complete n utter crap. All you see is... pop... n rap... n R&B... n more Rap. Do you have this show 'Kung Faux'? Where "r&b stars" dub over old school Kung Fu movies? Damn i hate that. I'm a fan of old school kung fu movies. Give me young Jackie Chan n Bruce Lee n e day. Damn they're good. But thats not the point.

Now, I tend 2 stick away from the cable music channel. They r getting 2 comercial n americanized (sorry, not meant 2 offend americans, but Australia isn't America, n im sick of seeing wannabe Yanks around. i have nothing against ur country or nothing, but damnit... i hate ppl who r wannabe's.)

I usually wait 4 RAGE 2 come on. It's on twice a week on Friday n Saturday nights. About 8 hours of semi decent music. N they have a playlist, so I dont have 2 sit thru a s**t nite. Theres probably 1 song every 2 weeks thats worth watching/tapeing. Rare, but oddly enough, it's more that the 24hours music channel can offer.

But yeah, I can't keep up with all the different music genres. Like, now theres nu-metal, hip-hop, funk, hard rock. theres 2 many 4 me 2 keep up with. If i like something i dont care if its popular, or mainstream, or old school or hated by every1 else on the planet etc.

I prefer not 2 define my taste in music. I cant say i prefer 1 genre... I know I dont like n e thing in the hip-hop, rap, r&b, soul, pop etc. genre, but thats just me. Personally, i'm not really into old school stuff like u r Fallen... not my generation, never could get in2 it. My mum likes the Beatles (1 of my favourite bands... always loved their music) , n Pop likes classical music...chopin, motzart etc (I love that kind of music... Beethovens Ode 2 Joy is such a beautiful song...very soothing classical music) I was brought up on Broadway musicals, classical music, n the beatles with some simon n garfunkle thrown in the mix. i had distinctly different tastes 2 my primary school class mates... they liked Hanson n the Spice Girls, n all that rubbish. But I think my musical taste depends on my mood. Sometimes I want 2 just run around like a dickhead. I'll put System of a Down on... I feel like studying then The Beatles (great motivational music), I feel like being all technical n s**t, then Linkin Park, I feel like being all full of melancholy then Classical it is. Thats y i like the Final Fantasy series soundtracks... lots of latin with classical music. Well, I'm lost now, i have no idea what i was gonna blabber on next. Thats a sign 4 me 2 stop talking. I dont mind that mtv have split the music up into different channels in the uk. I dont like the urban crap thats been generated so its good for me to have mtv dance and mtv 2 (rock)

And also i have no idea, besides carson daly who the hell some of those presenters you are talking about are.

Iann does the news and I think does something on MTV2. He's the rather...round gentleman with a buzz cut.
