My Avatar Submission Got Taken Off

when I mean my "avatar" I mean something I submitted, and got taken off. I dont think I was abusing anything...it was an animated icon of Hohenheim Elric. It may have been in the wrong category or mabey it wasn't appropriate??? I thought it was fine,

it was suppose to be humor...and if they emailed me I may not have gotten it....because since I joined FAC I started out with my old email address, and since then I have made a new email address.

An "avatar" is prettymuch ALWAYS understood to be the little picture by your username on forum posts you make. If that's not what you're referring to, then it's not the correct term to use. (When in doubt, "picture" works fine).

I don't have any further information on this matter though. Layzcarter? Jenniberry?

If you made the avatar with screenshots from the anime, that's probably why. FAC takes art, like drawings, paintings, cg'd stuff. Avatars shouldn't be submitted to the main page; they're for the forum. :/

Stratadrake: oh, sorry I should've been more specific. I did mean a picture I submitted to my gallery.

Fayore: Oh.... yes they were screen shots, I didn't know that...but then again I'm stupid, the place is called "[b]Fanart[/b]-Central"

well thanks for the help, I wont make that mistake again. I read a little of the FAQ but not all of it yet.

You can probably upload it onto the image board, tho. That's where you can put the pics that you want to share, but don't belong in your gallery. Smile
