I just thought of this Who can cross through the bone eaters well
In the first episode the centipied demon crossed through so full demons can cross
nope
in a episode Shippo tried to go through the well (with a shard) and couldnt cross
Maybe half demons can
lets see Inuyasha can cross with or with out a shard
Humans?
Kagome cant cross with out a shard but in a episode Inuyasha didnt want Kagome to get hurt so he huged her took the shards and pushed her down the well
How did she make it to the other side with out Inuyasha or the shard? |

Silly XxATLsGreatestxX, he didn't push her through the well. It was a plothole disguised as the well. _________________ FAC |

ok this is what i think,
The centipied demon was in the well the whole time, her bones were in the well (some people killed her and put her bones in the well) the jewel woke her up from her sleep. so thats how she was able to go after kagome.
i think (if i have my eps right) when kagome was sent home without a shard sho got back b/c Inuyasha sent shippo to run away from a battle with the shard and he hides in the well, with the shards being so close to the well kagome is able to cross.
Inuyasha can cross b/c he has somthing from kagomes time (i think...) and/or b/c of his necklace (whatever its called) is his conection to kagome, i havent seen the first 5 or 6 eps, so i dont know much about his necklace and other stuff like that.
kagome can cross b/c she held the jewle in her body and with some of the jewle she can cross. just b/c u have a shard dosent mean you can cross, or b/c your a demon or human.
but thats just some stuff i've herd or think, no much is FACT.
hpe that helped ^_^ |

Answer: it was a poorly hidden plot hole. Joou is probably the most correct. _________________

I watch a little Inuyasha and I have a question. Why doesn't Inuyasha just take that damn necklace off? |

Because it is the source of his flaming homosexuality. Without it, he could not be in yaoi crossover fanfiction. _________________

Hey there tyler ^^ Please refrain from those sorts of comments. This is a nice friendly board I'd hate to see a battle stirred up or something, I'd also hate to issue a warning _________________

That makes sense cus he was in it when they show flash backs of him when he was little. But how did it fit him through out his life?
The world May Never Know
O And exactly how old is Inuyasha I heard he is 200 years but he was pinned to the tree for 50 years so he lived 150 years before then? |

Haha, oh my, yes. Plot holes big enough to drive a Mack Truck through.
See, Inuyasha should have been a nice little series about a boy who becomes a hero because of the girl who loves him. Once you read anything about traditional hero tales (just google Joseph Campbell), it becomes obvious that Ms. Takahashi was following their guidelines very closely. The girl plays the audience and shows up in the boy'd life, forcing him into action. They start out on their quest, gather some companions for the road and head off to defeat that bad guy.
*sigh* And now, ten years later, the bad guy is still around, only now he has tentacles and too many eyes, and the only one who gets to fight is the hero - who isn't so heroic anymore. *sobs* In short, it became DBZ. Inuyasha, like Goku, is the only guy qualified to fight, apparently, since everyone else in the group seems to have lost all the powers that they entered the story with.
But enough lamenting the death of my favorite series. With very few exceptions, every show jumps the shark sooner or later. Inuyasha wasn't the first to do so and it won't be the last.
Questions!
Silly XxATLsGreatestxX, he didn't push her through the well. It was a plothole disguised as the well.
Quite true. There is no explaination for it. The well works the way it works and that just happens to be however is most convenient for the story. You aren't supposed the ponder the mechanics of it, I'm sure Ms. Takahashi didn't. Even according to famed filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki will say that according to Japanese storytelling, "Sometimes things just happen." Unlike American tradition, which dictates cause before effect, Eastern culture has no such needs.
How did inuyasha get the robe of the fire rat?

When he was a baby he was wrapped in it before his mother was killed and his village burned down, I think.
Yes, according to the retcon (retroactive continuity) of the third movie, his honorable father, the Inu-no-Taisho covered his mother in a kimono of fire rat fur to keep her safe.
But how did it fit him through out his life?
The plot demanded it. Behold the questions raised by the nature of TV sereies animation, which demand one basic costume for each character. This is also the problem with retcon-ing things. Even the very intentions can punch unnecessary holes in the very best of series. I'm sure the people in charge of the series would tell you to ignore it and enjoy the rest. (The same idea behind the second season of Happy Days: Richie never had a brother! Now be quiet and watch the Fonz!)
And exactly how old is Inuyasha? I heard he is 200 years old, but he was pinned to the tree for 50 years, so he lived 150 years before then?
Again, according to the third movie, that is accurate. I assume that the creators of the movie agreed on that figure because they could say that, as a hanyou, Inuyasha lived ten years for every one that he aged. If he is fifteen, then 15 x 10 = 150, plus fifty years on the tree, 150 + 50 = 200, just like you said.
Of course, this leaves terrible plot holes! Like the flashback with the Un-Mother where the viewers see Inuyasha as a child at perhaps four or five years of age, with his very young-looking mother. He could not have been aging one year for every ten if his mother was still in her twenties when he was five years old!
Retcon strikes again! Rumiko Takahashi is delibrately vague on this point of Inuyasha's age. When questioned, she usually responds by saying that he has the body of a seventeen-year-old but the mind of a fifteen-year-old. She does not actually say, however, that he is either seventeen or fifteen.
Obviously, she is willing to let the fans come up with their own ideas. So really, whatever you want to believe is acceptable because nothing is canon. |

It's compensation for his lack of penis.

It seems to serve the same purpose as the feather doodad on my OC "Gatha" - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
It's just there to look fancy and make the outfit more interesting. :/ Some people claim it's his tail, but you can see it is in no way connected to his body. _________________ FAC |

It's his armpit hair.
Actually I think it's somehow connected to the fact that he can turn into a giant doggy monster, and that he's a full blooded dog demon... all the full blooded dog demons I have seen (ie Sess and his dad) had one.
But that's just my guess. Probably completely wrong, because I stopped following the series after a while |
