I was thinking while writing a reply to another post that we pay too much attention to the new tv progrmas like the simpsons and not enough to the old legends. Thats why i wanted to find out what your favourites are or used to be. Some examples of ones i use to like

Thunder cats
He Man
Jason And The wheeled warriors
The super mario super show
Ghostbusters
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Think back to when you people were young and tell me your oldschool favourites and dont give me any of the new remakes cos they are nothing compared to the originals

o wow this is so cool. my friends and i always talk about old tv shows and movies that we watched when we were kids!! new kids shows suck i miss the old days

hmm can't think of any more but there is this one show that i keep having vague memories about but i can't think of the name and nobody else knows what i'm talking about. the same thing happened to me w/ Under the Umbrella Tree but there's this cool forum that lets you ask questions about old tv shows and people help you out.

Dang! I Remeber nearly all those tv programs you said...they all bring back so many memories. The one i remeber most that no one else i know rememebers is the Legend Of Zelda tv show. It was hardly ever aired over in the uk so no one saw it. Does anyone else remember that or just me. <_<

Ooh Ooh What about Those Mighty Morphin Power rangers before they sold out and brought out all the other forces that was legandary!

i like the old tv show hercules and there was also zena warror prencess
but i like hercules better lol

A Legend of Zelda cartoon was shown instead. This episode follows the adventures of heroic Link and Princess Zelda as they battle the minions of the evil Ganon, ruler of the underworld. Ganon has the magicial Triforce of Power, while Zelda and her father, King Harkinian, have the equally powerful Triforce of Wisdom. Link constantly stops Ganon's evil plans for stealing the Triforce of Wisdom and taking over the kingdom of Hyrule, all while trying(unsuccessfully) to get a kiss from Zelda.

I remeber only watchining it a bit...and zac i only meant it as a figure of speech Laughing

What about legendary puppet tv programs like thunderbirds and captain scarlet...did you guys actually see them where u were cos i know they were british made

What about johnny Quest, people have gotta remember that

Yeah i know the one your talking about weirdo, the live one...i didnt like it that much, i got a bit too boring for my taste, but i did hear it was a good show

o my smurf johnny quest rocks! eh i didn't really like the original, but i used to watch "the new adventures of johnny quest" every day after skool. it was all cool with some cg animation when they went into questworld.

and yes, i've seen thundercats, but i don't think i know captain scarlet. and wait, legendary puppet? is that a show or a company or something?

hmm hercules and xena were ok- i didn't watch them too much, but my cousins loved it so i kinda got into it thru them. yea i like hercules better, too.

whoa a zelda tv show? that is soooo cool! thanks so much for the info and pictures, boss man!! hmm i've always thought that zelda would make a great movie (but i know it wouldn't work since stupid movie people mess these things up too much. i present the first final fantasy movie as proof). but a tv show is a better idea!

haha speed racer- yea i watched it sometimes, too. has anyone ever seen the family ep where they make fun of it? ack i can't remember the exact line but it's funny...

Power Rangers used to be good. When i was little, I liked to watch it even tho the show kinda sucked (I was maybe six, okay!). Now it's gotten kinda stupid. Anyone else hear about how they can turn into dinosaurs?! Talk about overkill...

haha i am proud to say that i was truly never into power rangers. i watched it once or twice b/c my friend liked it, but that was it. but yea it's gotten even cheesier. lol i can tell just from the commercials! stop, please, just stop.

o wow i just remembered one show that i forgot- CAPTAIN PLANET! booyah that show rocks the shiznit (in the summer i kept staying up till 530 am to watch it on cartoon network, but they kept messing up the schedule, so i only saw it a few times). hehe the best part is the theme song (very catchy). and haha i love how the heart guy is such a loser (poor kid, it's not his fault). his power does nothing, and the only reason he's there is to represent a minority and to babysit the monkey. aaahhhh i love that show...

uhh i dont know thunderbirds or biker mice from mars (hehe i like the title tho). but yea inspector gadget rocks my socks! (i love Get Smart, too, which is a tvland-era show whose star is the voice of inspector gadget). haha at first i just liked it for the themesong (which kicks smurf- i still sing it alot), and then i'd end up sticking around for the rest of the show and started to like it.

hmm i have to say i'm not as knowledgable about old kids shows as i am about old kids movies. my cousin and i always end up reminiscing about these random, unheard-of movies. anyone remember fern gully? and once upon a forest? and troll in central park? and little nemo? o the only reason i'm mentioning this (sorry if its off topic) is that today my cousins and i were watching We're Back today (great movie!).
