I just saw the movie, and it was the best out of the three. They were clapping and crying and cheering through the whole movie. I could even leave to go to the bathroom. If you haven't seen it, see it. And if you have see it again. That is all I have to say. I loved it.

haha everyone was clapping & cheering during the movie when i saw it too. i dont know why we do it, it's just fun i guess.

but as i was watching it and heard everyone clapping, i had this weird realization. i dont know, but usually when i watch a movie, i feel like no one else is there- its just me and the movie (heh i get really into films. it's kinda sad. but o well it makes me happy). but suddenly when i was watching return of the king i just thought "wow this isnt just a bunch of strangers going to see some movie. this is a bunch of strangers sharing one great experience." it was almost like i knew the other people in the theatre, because we all knew the characters and knew the story and we weren't just there b/c we felt like seeing a movie, we were there because we love lotr.

eh i know it sounds stupid. sorry. umm it made sense in my head but it sounds weird when i write it. hmmm yea i am such a dork. WTF?

It was a kick @$$ movie! Nobody clapped though, in fact everyone was kind of wondering when the hell it would ever end. It just kept going and freakin going.....

haha the same thing happened to us. we kept clapping everytime it faded out because we thought it was over. but it kept going. i mean, it's cool that they had a nice, happy ending and everything, but don't fade out and make it look like the end of the movie after every scene. when it actually was over, we all waited a few moments until it said "the end," then everyone went crazy! it was pretty funny tho.

I loved it! It was the best of the three, I think. No one clapped when i saw it, tho. I nearly cried at the ending and the part on Mt. Doom. The only problem I see with it is that Legolas should have been in it more.

Ohh! I want to see that!! Nobody wants to go with me though ): I'll just drag someone else!! The other two where pretty cosmic though, so if this is the best then ... woah.

You can never have enough Legolas. He is most intoxicateing.

Oh, and I thought Pippin and Frodo where cousins or something. I duno, he seems to be closer with Sam, and Sam with him.
"Its Me Mr. Frodo! Its your Sam! Dont you remember your Sam?"
Sounds like a petname to me...

It was ok, it's not like the best thing, the 2nd one was boring as hell, I haven't seen it all the way through without sleeping, the 1st one was really good, the 3rd one was too dramatic, they cried their balls out at the st00pidest thing. "Sam go home" *cries* "OMFG SMACK THAT BITCH SAM, DON'T SIT THERE AND CRY ABOUT IT LIKE A f**king PUSSY!" Anywho, they coulda ended it so much sooner than they did.

I just now watched it for the second time, and it didn't feel the same. In fact, not to start a fight. It sort of sucked. I wondered when it would end throughout the whole movie. That is sad. I loved it the first time though.

haha i spent the whole movie waiting for frodo and sam to kiss- they kept looking like they wanted to. it's like, "god just do it already and get it over with!" but they never did. o well. they did cry a little too much tho it was kind of weird. yea i think merry and pippin are cousins, but i didn't really get the gay vibe from them- they were just happy to see each other at the end i guess. aww and pippin is so adorable.

yes it did need a lot more legolas. but the elephant part rocked!

mmm yea the ending thing.... they could have done that better

Oh dear i thought that movie was pretty damn good, and to be honest i dont think they could have ended it another way, because (Shock horror) it was a book before a movie WTF?

One ending that i thought was the worst in the world was Matrix revolutions you cant get worse than that

I heard an interesting thing on the radio a couple of days ago, A tolken critic said "Oh dear, A third movie they are pushing it a bit" wtf WTF? That is the most stupid thing ive ever heard in my life, theres my little rant over Cool
