What Player Are You?

Bass does strike me at fun. I've been self teaching myself for a while, but guitar just doesn't appeal to me. We have waay to many kids at our school doing it because it's "a trend." They don't do it 'cuz they want to, they do it because it's "cool." I mean, we have, like, twenty kids who sit in the hallways in the morning playing the guitar, and it's always the same stuff: Sweet Home Alabama, Smoke on the Water, White Stripes, and Blink Freaking 182.

Yeah, I really get annoyed with those guys, and besides that they can't play anything that isn't trendy! Banghead

Couldn't they play something like Pennies From Heaven, insted of Stairway to Heaven? They can do what they want, it is just annoying to do homework up there and have to listen to the same old rag. <_<

Touche, Avy, and it's a good thing you're playing the guitar because you want to. But these guys...bah. They're just doing it because of fashion. Give 'em a few years and they'll think it sucks.

I never thought I'd see the day when playing a musical instrument was a "trend."

I had a freind who's boyfriend use to play Stairway to Heaven, he cried when he did. he wasn't really emotional, so it freaked me out.

I'm a total Choir freak. I love my voice, but I suppose it's not good enough. Every year, the same girl always gets the frickin solos! >< I even auditioned this year for a solo in the song of "Seasons of Love". I came out as an alternate. Which, in my language, is just a nicer way of saying "Losah!" XD
But, yeah, I love singing. Even now, I'm sitting in the basement at the computer, singing "Pippin's Song" from Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. XD The only instrument I actually play is an ocarina, which I haven't even touched for ages. ^^;

I hope you mean for a beginner, because I haven't touched a regular guitar in ages and I could probably pick one up and remember how to play it.

Some girls who have just joined the Orchestra, they can't play worth a damn, i hate them so, and they only play well at chair auditions and I get freaked out, horrible. So i am challening! W00t!

I DID mean marching band. Guys who play in their own bands consider themselves to "cool" to act like geeks. Heretofore, band geeks are those in marching band.
