I'm neither a team player or a loner. I try to be a team player, but I'm not athletic so its very difficult to figure out where to pass when I'm just trying to get the ball.

I'm both. In Socccer (aswell as most other sports I play) I put a whole lot of effort into playing cooperatively with my tm's. But in other sports like Fencing, it's just me out their. Which I hafta say is easier. I only have to look out for myself.

It's definetly easier when you only have yourself to look after, at least that way there's not that one person who ruins a team.

Teams are just...unpredictable. You screw up, it's your head on the platter. On the otherhand, team also gives you the advantage of favors. Sometimes those on your team can help you when you get into s**t. It goes both ways, but quite frankly, I'm a loner. Sometimes team (i.e. Soccer) is cool, but loner is just easier. It's you and only you and therefore life is easier.

I like teams but i am a loner, Tennis, golf, ect... But with a team when you screw up someone is there to pick up the slack, but if someone screws up then you end up blaming them and it isn't fair. so it is better to be a loner... :ph34r:

there hasn't been many successful teams when the players are loners. loners tend to think for themselves and whats good or better for themselves. that screws up the whole teams chances. one person cannot beat an opposing team alone. look at Lebron James in his first two years, even his team depended on him to lead them, thats why the team sucked and didnt get far. He did it all on his own, even tho that helped him bring his stats up, the team suffered. it's different now tho, his team know their roles, tho they still depend on him, atleast now they know they cannot just give him the ball and step aside to let him do his thing. They need to help to, there are too many facets of a game for one man to do them all. But i give james his credit, because he does most and he does it so well.

You almost, [i]almost [/i]changed my beliefs about team systems. Granted, you're right in some way; without teams, a person it more liable to fall apart due to the fact they're not thinking for themselves. On the other hand, even in a team everyone has their own personal agenda. It's just how we work.

I'm a loner, theres not much use for a team in the three sports I play. No need for one in Speed Skateboarding/Slaloom, Pool Skating, or skateboarding in a whole.

Uh, It all depends. I play football (You refer to it as soccer) and if i'm play competitively, i'll use my team mates. Use them to play a one-two or to set me up. hell, I play in goal, I rely upon my defence.

but when i'm playing with my mates, out of choice, i'll go it alone, sometimes letting my friend have a touch, and force him to return it, so i can tap it in. It all depends. Smile
