That is your [i]member title[/i]. It's just a little phrase to describe your status as a member, and it changes as you accumulate more posts.

Quite a few, actually. And not all of them should be taken seriously.

[b]Q: Are there any other member titles not mentioned in this list?[/b]
For example, after making your first post (post count=1), your member title will read as "My First Post!" instead of "Baby".

[b]Q: I've seen people with other member titles, like "moderator" or so on. How did they get them?[/b]
Those are special titles assigned by the forum administrator.

[b]Q: Can I get a custom title for myself?[/b]
Sorry, no, the phpBB software does not support this.

aww...that's a bummer . . . .

On this other forum I go on, I'm able to change it to whatever I want. Mine right now says "I'm a JAF (Japanese Animation Freak)". I came up with that for my group of friends and I a couple years back. I think it's great to be able to do that, but then again, that forum isn't as big as this one is. I guess it helps to control what titles members have.

Thats probley due to the fact that they could'nt fit it in. You can only put in a certain amount characters I think.

Oh and when you've made [b]1[/b] post, it says "My First Post!" as well Razz

It would be funny if there were hidden titles that last like 5 posts only in random places before returning to the original title. You just wouldn't tell anyone about what the titles are or where they're placed. Wink

Example:
500-525 - Forum Contributor
526-531 - Space Monkey
532-749 - Forum Contributor

Of course, 'hidden' member titles would not work if you already have a custom title.

True, but the majority of people don't have one, plus those who do could still enjoy seeing other random titles pop up here and there.
