Never going to mess w/ the computers. I have a hard enough time with the piece of s**t I own now.

I'd have to agree with this. In all my GT classes we have a few kids who bitch incessantly about the amount of homework we get, and then when they get kicked out, they mope around. Life's tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid. They weren't smart, they were weak and didn't adapt, and they paid for it. Tough. Move on. Maybe they'll learn next time. _________________ What does it all MEAN? |

Bah, I managed a 1140 with an hour of sleep and a light hangover.
I dozed off during several sections, losing near 15 minutes on a math section.
I really ought to retake it, but I'll probably repeat what I did last time and stay up late or do some other stupid crap. :/ |

I'm taking my ACTs in April, my MEAP in March (MEAP is only for Michigan, but it will soon be replaced with the ACT), and my SATs are in September, I think. I took my PSATs back in September and I got like... 161, I think? My only problem was math. I rock English, but WHOA, I suck at math |

Nah, everyone around here picked which depending on what school they were planning on going to and what subjects they were strongest in. ACT is mostly an east coast thing. West Coast schools still typically want the SATs. But it's starting to matter less and less. But...ya only need one. Here at least.
Hardly anyone took both. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Our school must be a fluke, then. The juniors take ACT and the seniors take the SAT. _________________ What does it all MEAN? |

Oh i can't wait for The TESTS OF DOOM!!!!!!!!!!!
But they are needed to weed out those of us who are supid and weak under pressure...myself included....but if i want to ace a test i need to study and i rarly do! Perhaps that is why i have a C in science and an A in everything else! Grr..... <_< although my mother did tell me to take a break from stressing over grades and going into nervous-breakdown stage..... _________________ Depression is only anger without enthusiasm |

well i don't know about you darlings but for me (prep school wanna be blues) they start pressureing the kids in 6th grade and formally pressureing in 9th to study for the SATs I alone have attended 4 classes on SATs and own 2 books. but really your SAT, GPA, extra circ. and community service decides your colledgey fate.
oh yeah, i haven't actually taken the SATs for real, but every couple months they have us do a practice one. i suck. _________________ My candle burns at both ends;

Unless you go to art school, then you just have to prove you aren't retarded.
All my high test scores and AP classes and GPA worthless. Bah. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

We actually had an SAT prep class in my high school as well. It was required if you were in the Magnet program (which I was). I think we actually ended up taking a fake SAT in there but I honestly can't remember what I got on it. That was a required class for us in 10th grade if I remember correctly. |

I have to take the SAT's in April. I'm not really looking forward to it.
I probably won't do very badly, but I just hate math. ICK.
I'm not too terrible at math, I just hate it. Makes my head hurt. I rock at English and sentence skills and grammar and all that crap, though. I always have, I think. |
