I just saw it as a commercial on Cartoon Network a few days ago and I decided to look it up on the internet. I found one video preview and 2 gallery sets on Warner Bros. kids and a group shot on Wikipedia. Well, I was surprized at the start.

But, I don't know, since the reviews said it debuted on mid-sept 2005. It's still gonna make it's debut here in the Philippines on March 5, 2006. Forgive me if I'm late at saying this, though. Cause the reviews said it came out, or I think it did, in America. I'm not so sure. So don't flame me.

Well anyway, the 6 main characters are revised characters of the original Looney Toons series, supposedly the descendants of the first characters. Well there are revised versions of Bugs, Lola, Roadrunner, Taz, Daffy and Wiley(dunno 'bout the others). They're superheroes fitted in black jumpsuits and drawn in an anime style. Here are some good stuff:they have different names, (I'll stick with the orig names) they have individual unique powers which suits them well, daffy lost his lisp, bugs lost his front buck teeth which makes him look good, roadrunner can talk and has arms, wiley is accident free, taz is off the berserk status, and lola has a cool new look and flare. That's just a part of it. You now know where to find their bios. I don't wanna spoil ya(those who didn't know of this yet).

Press and Media said WBros. created it 'cause of evoving pop culture. Dunno. Try looking it up in several sites and let's see what you think about it. I say--it's the best animation WBros. has to offer. I think it's a beginning of a new era for our favorite animals. bottom line, I like it and I will remain that way for a very long time.

I personally think it's pretty lame. I really wish companies would stop trying to appeal to kids with ZOMG XXTREME programming. (Or jello, for that matter.)
Also, I don't think that what they've done to their characters is an improvement in the slightest. The characters arent the same without their old silliness, which is pretty much what used to define them. Now that they've been revamped, they're just....generic. =/ I didn't even like the original Loony Toons, but the changes still annoy me on several levels.



Also the plotlines suck.

And....that's probably because YOU NEVER LIKED THE ORIGINAL CARTOON(you said). I don't blame you, though.

Yes, it's generic. It's supposed to be like that. It's a new style. Still, I won't go against your opinion. I accept that.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm not a huge fan of the makeover from what I've seen...

Then again, anything not directed by Chuck Jones just can't compare with the oldschool Looney Toons.

And I hear that the new Roadrunner talks... that makes my soul sad.

I saw it and I didn't like it that much Though the part where they take orders from that one woman made me say, "They stole that from Power Rangers!"

Yeah, well. The press said too that some say WBros. ruined he original cartoon, and made it for the sake of publicity or sumthin like that. Let's let the 2 sides argue about it here. I can only speculate, cause I'm supposed to be the neuter.

I loved the origional, but they KILLED IT. It sucks, all or it. The art, the plot, the "improvments" everything.

I've watched it a few times. And personally, I like it better than the original. In the old shows, it had such stupid comedy in some parts, like the stupid law of gravity thing. That just doesn't make sense...

And the names of the newer chars are:

Bugs:Ace
Taz:Slam
Daffy:Danger Duck
Wiley:Tech E.
And I can't remember the other two. Crud.

What exactly is this stuff?I though the remake of Duck Dodgers is already enough but this?? If the show looks mediocre in terms of the storyline,the cartoon probably won't last for more than two seasons or reach beyond a hundred episodes.
