People don't commit sucicide because they listen to depressing music. It's people who listen to depressing music who are more apt to commit sucicidde because they have those depressed feelings- not brought on by the music, but the music is a parallell of the feelings.

The man who wrote that article must be one of those angry old dudes transfering his anger into a music becasue his own children left him , don't talk to him whatever and he needs something to blame.

The best thing to do is to make fun of him and get over it, he has no power to change anything, so why give a crap?

But really, how stupid can peopel get? First off, Japan has the highest suicide rate.

Nowadays, anyways. Did you know that emo started out as a punk subgenre? The only difference between the two was that "emo" focused more on more deep and personal topics such as unrequited love while straight punk was more "kick your teeth in and f**king rock out". What we jokingly call "scremo" is basically what emo started out as.
