So, I see we have a lot of different music threads, but precious few devoted to hip-hop.

I don't like all hip-hop, mind you, but I am a sucker for that jazzy stuff that originated in early 90's. Tribe Called Quest, Beatnuts, Q-Tip (his name is stupid but he makes up for it, I promise ). So yeah, there's my two cents.

Why is there a majority of hip-hop threads? Because not much here are fans of it. Or so that I've seen, me bitching on how bad rap was got me this title
So I need to talk about this in a calm orderly fashioned to prevent me from getting an uber retarded new title.

I do not like hip-hop at all, perhaps maybe some songs from Eminem make me jump a bit, but no. It has swearing after every other word and it's all about pimpin' your bitch, killing people. And their hand language is just annoying. The Female hip-hop artists annoy me more than the male ones.
I don't like it either.

I don't like rap. That loud gangsta s**t about killing yo' bitch n' all that, no thanks. I like the smooth stuff, kinda a mix between jazz and hip-hop. Lyrical ryme with musical soul.

not going to lie to you i like outkast's first few albums, then they kinda got diluted, as is the fate of all good things.

Although this may seem like i like hip-hop, rap, and the other thing that usually comes third in the list, i do not.

though i'm intending to rock the doo-rag with the red cowboy hat tomorrow at the school...

I've been listening to the album White People by Handsome Boy Modelling School. Check it out. It's unbelievable with tons of great diverse guest stars like De La Soul, and Jack Johnson.

I like Hip-Hop. But the kind I listen to is kindof silly. :3

I don't see why everybody constantly disses it. There's good stuff and bad stuff, like every other genre. Owate, that's rite. We don't like nigra.

Hip hop is fo shizzle, ya dig? I like alot of hip hop. Old school, new school, whatever. I don't like every artist in the genre, but I do like different kinds of hip hop.
