1/100. Yeah, I'm starting one of those ghey 100 prompts things. On the topic of PB. 'Cause I'm lame like that.
Not that Tweener was particularly how I wanted to start, but he's the easiest to draw with that jawline and symmetrical face. Haven't decided which prompt I wanna use this for. Either I'll add Theo to the left for "Beginnings" or pick something from the last 50 that I haven't decided yet. Bah. Whatever.
Dunno how far I'll take this one. Given that there will be 100, most will have to stay at sketch level, but....guh, I'm bad at leaving things rough. :(
I'm gonna post every god damned one here, and you're gonna like it. :wub: LJ next, I think. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

after four years of debating if Miki Lee should have unique asian eyes my son convinced me to change hers from the other Angels. the other three are slightly different to eachother but Miki now has Chinese Angel eyes ^_^

Heh... you know Fallen, I have no idea who that guy is, but he kind of reminds me of what the male leads in any of Don Bluth's recent films would look like if they were done sans cartoony style (like Dmitri from Anastasia or that blonde guy from Titan AE...) _________________

It's Tweener/Lane Garrison in all his bitchy vanilla ice glory. I hate Tweener so much. So so much. He does remind me of Dmitri a bit, now that you mention it... _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Wow, Lizkay, that's so beautiful. The drool's kinda scary though. ^^; I'm curious about the makeup of the tail though... Is it fur like a chipmunk? I keep seeing it and thinking 'eel', but I guess that's just because I don't know what to make of it. o_o;
As for me, I still have this picture of absolute doom that I started way back in August. It was an interesting experiment, but there are just so many things about it that I hate/couldn't get to look right, that I think it's just time to give up on the whole thing.

The pose is awkward, and I'm just not cut out to color/shade in this style. Too much work. Plus, I really have no concept of fabric wrinkles, so they didn't come out so well. Anyway, I've been frustrated with this for long enough, so I think I'm just going to say that it's finished and leave it at that.
Oh, and don't mind the hideousness of the pants - this is just a small preview picture, and the jpeg compression is just awful on it. >.< |

It's supposed to be a newt tail Like this: MalePondNewt
It should be transparent... but *grrrr* making the dark monochrom night shining through it looked bad, I really have no idea how to give it a transparent feeling there.. :huh: _________________ - hmm... did someone say "MUFFIN"? - |

The blank sky is probably the problem -- no background details that you could show through it. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

I've figured it's high time for me to learn how to use Photoshop well. And by "well", I mean like a real medium. No filters and stuff (though I didn't really use those before) no point-and-click gradients, no burn-and dodge.
I did a really quick scribble to test out the style with, my ultimate goal is to be able to take the linework away without making it look crappy. Here's what I've come up with so far (sans the sketch) he still needs hair, ears, and teeth, and the chest and shoulders need more meddling but it's not too bad so far. _________________

Dagget?
Pretty cool, and you got the no linework effect perfectly done!

Daggett indeed... Who else has such a pretty foot-long metallic lizard tongue? At least, who else that I draw.... _________________
