okei.

I bought the Yuugiou movie [Pyramid of Light?] the other day because it was in Japanese and, despite the abysmal title, I figured that hearing Yuugi's Japanese voice would make it all better. :B

Unfortunately, I wasn't quite so accurate in that belief. I've only seen 15 minutes of it so far, and those were a rather disappointing 15 minutes. Had to stop watching because the mediocrity was depressing. :/

So here's the clincher: Do I finish watching it? Is it worth it? And will Yuugi's adorable voice actor make it all better!? DX;;;

lmao. I'm not even quite sure of the storyline. I just know that it rapes the continuity of the storyline I already know of. D: Anubis is such a typical bad guy. "ZOMG I HAFF BEEN 'WAKENED AND SO HAS THE KING OF DARKNESS AND I MUST DISPOSE OF HIM WITH THE POWER OF LIGHT YARRR" except maybe less pirate noises, but I think that adds a bit of flair. :D

In regards to the movie, there's no Bakura and Mai has about one second of screentime. POINTLESS!!! (sigh) Have to agree with Touzoku-joou...I think your money was cheated...

Right now I'm working on creating five diffrent decks, an Exodia deck, a spellcaster deck, a dragon deck, an Insect deck, and a Jaden deck. Besides that I use an Archfiend/Dark World deck which is kinda hard to use.

I always found theme decks to be ultimate fales, because once your opponent finds their weakness, you're screwed. I mean seriously, Exodia deck? I can name a million ways to render them useless. All you need is a good "discard" card or two, and your opponent is screwed like Bubba's cellmate.

And that is why I have a counter deck. :3 "Anything you can do, I can do better." 8D I NEVER LOSE Dx

That's... pretty much what I did with mine. I then realized that it WAS a counter deck, because for some reason, whatever my opponent has out on the field, I have something to destroy it. =D But it's mostly just a deck of "OH HIS LOOKS HANDY LOLOL LET'S PUT 'ER IN"

That's why I have more than one deck, like one time I was dueling this guy who said was going to make Exodia useless, he ended up losing because he didn't know I was actually using my Darkworld deck where discarding cards brings out my darkworld monsters. People hate me for switching decks everytime.

True, as a general rule. It's possible to make an extremely good theme deck, but it still can't stand up to more varied decks of lower calibur.

I never play seriously, so I just use cards I think look cute, gorgeous, cool, or hot. The only person I ever play is my brother, whom I basically can't lose to `cause...he's dumb that way ~.^ I guess my decks are usually kind of counter-decks as well--my staple card is Mystical Space Typhoon. Lovely card, that.

Theme decks are only practical when other people are using themes as well. I.e., in the show. However, even there, some decks--namely dragon and spellcaster--have such clear advantages in the range and power of the cards they can use that theme decks of insects or Harpies or, neglected of neglected, plants can do nothing but lay down and be massacred. Banghead

It's kind of annoying, really.

My cousin and brother kept giving me their Yu-Gi-Oh cards ('cause I collect things), and now I have a collection of about 100...20-something of which are dragons.

I like my Black Skull Dragon, Red Eyes Black Dragon, Blue Eyes White Dragon, that weird thunder one...I should check which ones they are, they're somewhere in my closet.

I have never even watched a single episode of the show =|

i used to watch the show, and play the cards, but the whole yugi-oh thing just sorta phased out for me. I still love collecting the cards, though, as well as pokemon cards

my favorite cards have to be Blue Eyes toon dragon and Amazoness Tiger because:

i LOVEE tigers and dragons. Also, both cards have woop @$$ illustrations!!

Maha Valio was always my favorite. I lurve spellcasters...

I cannot really afford the cards for reals, though, I just by a gameboy game every once and a while to satify my Duel Monsters cravings.

I don't really have anyone to battle with, so my deck is pretty much disorganized. My favorite card is still the TimeWizard, because it's a wizard AND a clock! =D
