Error 1064?

4 some reason when i try to submet anything i get a error 1064 can u tell me wat to do plz

Indeed. I received error 1064's myself the other day, but that was when trying to search for art, not submit art. The error itself is too general, you need to be specific about what you were doing.

I.e.:
- What page were you on (upload file / submission details / etc.) just before the error message occured?

i was trying to submit a story and was loading it from a word doc and when i pressed go and error poped up and it said something about a squ or something like that

Whenever I try to submit art, I get an error that says: "The file you uploaded doesn't appear to be a valid umage format for the internet. Type it is reported as: application/octet-stream"
I have them saved as jpegs and they are under 300k. Help?

Jpeg aren't valid for internet visual, save it as PNG, that always works for me.

Yeah I got it searching for art too once. Then the next time for some reason it didn't happen.

Uh... what planet did you come from again? WTF?

JPEG's are an EXCELLENT format for use on the Internet.

The problem is not the file format itself, but the program you use to save it. Not all programs save JPEG's in the same way, which occasionally causes other programs to reject them as invalid.

This seems to often be caused by photoshop on Macs

Oh That I was wondering cuz mine's Windows.
I didn't understand- JPEGs aren't valid for use on the internet? I don't have a Mac so I wouldn't know anything about em.

But apart from that, have you tried to save it to different formats (.doc, .rtf, .txt) or with different programs (Word, WordPad, NotePad, etc)?
