Read anything good in the horror genre lately? Please put suggestions here, that way I'll have some ideas of what to get next time I get my ass to Borders WTF? Hopefully I'll go there later today, that way I'll have something to read this weekend.

Stephen King writes great horror novels, but some can be very long.

Hehe, horror helps me fall asleep. Don't know why, but it does.

V.C. Andrews is good too.

You shouldn't buy books, just read them there! That's what I do ^_^ Or borrow them from the library. (And if you really like the book, you can photocopy each page at a Kinkos or something Laughing )

Anyway...good horror: Frankenstein, Dracula...you know, the classics Wink As for more modern horror-ish books..ummm Hannibal is good..and these books by Caleb Carr (still living..but writes in older settings) I belive are pretty good, if you're into the eh..19th century(?) type of things...Jack the Ripper times whenever that was. Bah..there are lots of others that are really good, but I can't think at the moment.

uhhh...good scare, huh??

The only horror books I've read have been by Stephan King. lol. Uhhh...The Shining was pretty creepy. If you want deeply disturbing scary...ummm..."Gerald's Game" was gross. Really really gross. "Apt Pupil" a short story in his book "Different Seasons" was good too. (Different Seasons also has a funny story called "The Body"...at least, I found it humorous) "Desperation" was really sick. Very detailed.
