Elfen Lied wins for most gory in my book >.> The Galerians movie was pretty gory too. Creepy little preteen's exploding people's head with psychic powers.

Manga: Battle Angel Alita(not the most...but f**king awesome anyway) because people get their faces ripped off Smile

I've heard horrid things of Battle Royale. In some places it even got taken off the shelves because some lady yelled at a store that it shouldn't be selling something like THAT to anyone, let alone the kid she bought it for. I'm sorry, but considering those are wrapped in plastic and are CLEARLY labeled NOT FOR KIDS, that's her own damn fault...

I want it now.. Uneasy

well...i havent seen elfen lied.....looks creepy
but your completly wrong about samurai X...ive seen them all...and they arnt any where near as bad as ninja scroll. and if you think that it is worse then ninja scroll..then you obviously have something confused.
but about the hellsing...im apologise for not making myself clear. i ment the manga...the anime isnt much...but man o man, the manga is frikken awsome.
like when alucard was fighting a swat team in mexico...he blew this guy up and his organs and guts splatered all over the walls....also in the first volume when he was first awakened and he slit that guys head in two and drank his blood.
you have to admit...that makes it close to the gorriest....but ive never seen elfen lied...so i cant say hellsing the manga is the gorriest.

but about ninja scroll..when that one really big guy with the blade boomerang thingy...he ripped that guys arms off with his bare hands...that was pretty gross >.<

Elfen Lied is muuuuch worse.

Personaly, I thought Samurai X was much worse than Ninja Scroll, especialy in the beggining when Shinta's family is murdered by bandits. In Ninja Scroll, it is always the Devil's of Kimon killing inferior children, while in Samurai X, it is bandits ruthlessly killing women, children, and the elderly.

Because of that, Samurai X struck me as being much more brutal.

I'm not much of an anime fan so I don't have a whole lot to compare, but I've been a fan of Arm of Kannon for a while now and it's decently gorey.

Lots of fun with people getting diced and stuffed in refrigerators and messily dismembered by lizard men and the like.

Ninja Scroll. I was 13 years old [edit](or was 14 or even 15? Can't remember, too long ago)[/edit] and an anime violence virgin, so I still think of it as extremely bloody. I dont really remember the violence in Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal, probably because I was so wrapped up in the story or something.

I stopped watching Elfen Lied when that cat-girl (I dont care if theyre horns, she still looks like a cat-girl) peed on the floor and took her clothes off, but the beginning was quite disgusting.

GAH! Out of all of those how could I forget Elfen Lied????
Anyways. I did read the manga version of Battle Royale, & MAN that was some pretty neat (in a scary kind of way) stuff! WHOO! XD

Hellsing & Ninja scroll are the hardcore ones?? Sorry, but I'd have to disagree.
