Angelique: Heaven's Requiem.
This game is what happens when dating sims and rpgs breed. :(
Sadly enough, I'm determined to get all the endings and stills. :(
Too bad I keep getting drowsy whenever I play; the rpg thing is cool, but dude! WHY is the battle theme so slow and soft? T_T I always get sleepy when going through a dungeon purely because of that! D:
Finished one run in 18h. Olivie's ending. <3 I'm going for either Sei-Lan or Charlie next. (Nothing like 15 more runs to go through. @_@) _________________

Shadow of the Colossus-Awesome Unique game experience without the inherent Ps2 Anime' angst...
Drakan:The Ancient's Gates-Something crossed between Zelda OoT and Panzer Dragoon wrapped in American design mediocrity and a lil' dab o Diablo. |

I just finished Summon Night EX Thesis; spent 30h in the last two days doing so. XD I got Ending 03, the children ending. Aww, Leon and Ainna are so cute~! <3 But that also means that my game sucked as it's the normal ending. XD
Well, I did rush it after all... My next goal is Ending 04, The "Guide" ending. After looking it up, it appears that this is the hardest ending to get (must finish game level 40+, get all summons, complete the monster compendium, get final weapon, among other things... :<). But hey, if I get to glow like Nova does, it's all worth it. And since New Game + supplies me with an item that gives me 2x the normal exp from enemies, it shouldn't take nearly as long.
But first, since I swore I'd have KH2 done during spring break, I have to play KH1. 8D _________________

I'm just playing World of warcraft. Level 10 undead preist. But it's a little depressing when you see other players whizzing past you on horseback when you're still walking from town to town. _________________ "You know what? Currently playing: Black and White II, Final Fantasy XI (as always), and Kingdom Hearts. Thinking of replaying Final Fantasy VI, VII, and VIII. Every once in a while I go back and replay my games. Just replayed Super Mario RPG not long ago. <3 |

Xenosaga. I'm on the thing that combined with the Song of Nephilim. Supposedly, I'm almost done. :(
Ah well. Second one is only $18, and looks graphicly delicious, so I'll either get that or Resident Evil 4 next. _________________

Xenosaga, huh? That's funny 'cause i finished both Xenosaga 1 and 2 a little while back. I think you'll like Xenosaga 2 though. The graphics are SO much better, and the characters look SO much more realistic. The voicing for the characters are an improvement, too. As for me, im currently playing Grandia 3, which is really good by the way. |

You liked Xenosaga 2? Really? How odd. I couldn't stand it...I hated the battle system and I thought the voice acting was horrendous. But, hey, to each their own, right? ~.^
I'm playing Shadow Hearts: Covenant. Trying to finish it so I can start Shadow Hearts: To the New World. And trying to get Dark Seraphim so I can bask in the unadulterated hotness thereof...^.^ _________________ Disgaea's Overlords Dance in Worlds Beyond Infinity while Mifuyus Magical Multiplying Mole reads the epic Chronicles of Yord, and you learn that your Craving for Finding a Heart of Snow is Taboo in VG unless you dare undertake The Combine of Sin... |
The voicing for the characters are an improvement, too.
O_O
You are the first person to play XS2 and come out saying that, that I've met, anyway. o_o;;; Everyone else I know (including myself) believes that that game certainly went downhill in ever aspect EXCEPT for graphics, and that's because better graphics comes with time. The game sucked so much (for me), it took me 6 months to finish the game (I kept putting it down because I hated nearly everything about it) when the first game only took me about four days. -__-;
The voice acting is far worse, in my opinion. Also, there's less focus on the main plot; that is, nearly the entire game focuses on the Jr./Albedo thing. I thought it rather dull. They didn't even get to visit any interesting places (planet wise), either. At the end of the first game, they reach Second Miltia. In the second game, they visit Miltia... and that's it. :< We hardly get any development on the connection between Shion, Nephilim, and KOS-MOS, much unlike the first game. :/// So, don't expect any character development unless its name is Jr. And, like in the first game, Ziggy is relatively neglected... But I suppose he doesn't have much of a past to unearth, anyway. XD
Plus, say good bye to the awesome soundtrack. :[ Rather than having music in battle and at event sequences like in the first game, they now have music ALL the time. And most of it is really bad techno, too. They have two composers this time, some random dude no one's heard of (he did the techno. ;-; ) and the acclaimed Yuki Kajiura for the event sequences. So. You have bad/mediocre music most of the time, and stunning music sprinkled throughout the game, rare. :< Sigh...
We won't even go into the battle system. Suffice to say that it made Baby Jesus cry. Also, there is no longer a money system. No shops. Ran out of healing items? Want more? Well you'll have to fight enemies till they drop enough to satisfy you! 8D Oh, what's that? Can't fight battles because you don't have enough items to heal yourself and you therefore get raped everytime you enter a battle? Oh, well. Too bad for you.
They also removed the character-specific skill sets and gave everyone the same skill pool. Suck. Suck, suck, suck.
...
Of course, this is all coming from someone who claims that the crap was worth struggling through just to see the big Box of Intrigue that the ending dropped.
Anyway, playing KH, having started it yesterday. Some of the tasks are much harder than they seem. Seems like half of them you need an amazing ability with controls. Platforms... -__-;;; Spent forever in Deep Jungle because I kept falling off stuff. *hates the Hippos' Lagoon with a fiery passion*
Well, I'm in Agrabah now. :s Lots of work, hmmm. I like how they gave world-specific characters to use, but I have a tendency to just keep the regular team. Besides, you never know when you'll find another Trinity Mark. :X I really dislike how the battle menu is set up. It's unique, but I'm so busy just attacking the enemy, it seems like a bother to move out of the main battle to go through the command menu to use items or use skills. Especially skills. I find that by the time I actually stop attacking to scroll down to the skill command, the enemy's already moved away, rendering that skill momentarily useless. DX *prefers the simple hack/slash/summon system of SNEX far more*
I also find that going through the Second and Third Districts of Traverse Town gets really tedious sometimes because DAMMIT STOP RESPAWNING, YOU! I hate how I can just go into a building and when I come out they all come back to torment me. :s It also sucks knowing that I've spent 12h on this game and I'm still only at the beginning. :<
Sometimes I want to put KH down and play something else, but then I remember that I don't have anything else to play because Angelique Special 2 doesn't arrive for another week and a half. :< _________________
