Custom Creature Taxidermy
She's a woman who, basically, takes in dead animals (roadkill, donated, unwanted livestock...etc) and turns them into works of "art" with the help of her knowledge of biology and design, and also her charmingly disturbing sense of humor. A nice website, if you're into that sort of thing. Of course, if your sensitive and squeemish, I'm wondering just what the hell you're doing still reading this and not hastily pressing your back button.
The site is equipped with pictures and everything. My personal favourite is the mousetrap.
A-anyway...I must say I can't bring myself to envy her profession. Some of you, though, may enjoy picking apart dead things and making things out of them.
I prefer to do it while they're still alive*
*I'm kidding**, it was just tempting to put that in.
**or am I? _________________ You'll get a PS3 for this game...

Holy crap, that's one of the most innovative thing I've seen in art scene recently.
I really want to see a piece of harlequin fetus on canvas. _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

I admire people who take so much pride and put so much dedication into their work.
EDIT: That doesn't sound cool out of context. I was referring to Naturalists with that of course. D; _________________ |

yay, I found her website a few weeks back. I don't remember what I was looking for at the time, but I happened across her stuff. I think it's actually really cool. I would buy the Squirrel Lamp if I could. D: |

the feet are $28, the heads are $2 more. :gasp:
Edit: I just realized how incredibly fun it would be to throw them at people. |

If they weren't so "OMG" expensive I would honestly decorate the house with them. XD
$329 for the squirrel lamp. I want it so bad.
I wonder how a person goes about getting into taxidermy. |

I really like the fantasy pieces. Capricorn ftw. I'd love to have one; a pity I don't have $1500 spare change. D: _________________

I loved reading the guestbooks.
OMG, you sick! sick! person! I hope you die!!!!!
 The only thing she's doing that is different from thousands of other taxidermists are displaying and selling them over the net, of course you'll end up with the innards, what do you do with them? throw it away? That doesn't sound very market-savy to me. _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

Nope...it says on the main page that she does SOMETHING with them.
Hmm...well, as sick as it looks, I hope this replaces "modern art" as the new craze. Modern art is crap. Paint a chair white and nail an empty can to it. Sell it for $$$$$$$. Sorry, but I'd say interesting, if dead, animals look much more cool than a chair with a can on it. Hell knows a lot more effort goes into it. _________________ You'll get a PS3 for this game...

Creepy to say the least...but everyone has their own way of expressing themselves through art...although that's an excellent way to recycle roadkill. Damn deer...*mumble mumble*...wrecked my car, damn you! |

Whoa! You don't see that everyday. Weird, but nice. I won't consider on buying 'em, though.
BTW there's a guy who does duck art using duck poo. I forgot his name _________________ --Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds talk about ideas. But of a humble heart, the Lord wil not scorn, and from its abundance the mouth speaks.
