Yellow ledbetter by Pearl Jam, cus the frontman is incoherent in it, but the guitar is absolutely beautiful.
Hotel California, by The Eagles, all around wonderful song. But need the instrumental >: (
anything by John F is utter bliss, Murderers is one of the best, IMO
i got the stairway to heaven by jimmy page & eric clapton instrumental, it kinda sucks bad tho, aside from the solo. i keep finding hip hop instrumentals, but most of them are ripoffs from old school r&b songs, no point.

Dude if you want good instrumental music, just look for "Liquid tension experiment"! It's prog-rock/metal.
It's a band formed by a couple of bandmembers of Dream Theater (wich is my fav band al together).
I bet you'll love their music unfocused (if you don't already knew them...)
What would I like to see/hear instrumentals off....I agree with you on the Hotel California they should make an instrumental. God I don't know any ath the moment...I'll edit when I DO know... _________________ I'm like a hunter of peace. One who chases the elusive mayfly of love... or something like that |

There was a band that opened for GWAR that had horrendous vocals but the guitarists were amazing. Mensrea, I think they were called. It was loud aggressive metal but I was just amazed by the guitarists. If their guitarists released an instrumental album - I'd be all over it.
Hotel California would obviously make a great instrumental, I agree about that. ^_^
I'd like to see some Guns n' Roses instrumentals, whatever songs. I've always been fond of them. ^^;
I also think some Fear Factory songs would make good instrumentals. The songs on Transgression in particular. Also for the song Descent. <3 |

I don't really listen to instrumentals, there good but I just don't have many songs that are just instrumental
Two of my favourite would be :
"(Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth" by Metallica, well really Cliff Burton, its fuckin excellent, he was probably one of the best bass guitarists in the world before his death
The other one is "Rat Salad" by Black Sabbath, has to be one of the best songs ever _________________ |

Only one I can think of would have to be "Losfer Words" by Iron Maiden. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

Eruption- Van halen..... its much more of a really good guitar solo than an instrumental but, there are no lyrics so....
And you could also try some Carlos Santana, if you are looking for great guitars, I recommend "Europa". _________________

Nightwish - Moondance. Awesome song, dude. Much piano and stuff but great nontheless.
Anything by Apocolyptica. They do covers of Metallica songs in orchestra and symphonetic instrumentals and every song sounds awesome. One is an awesome song, Metallica or Apoco.

Well, they do metallica covers, and some other popular metal covers....
the only difference is that they only use 4 cellos..... amazing _________________

Layla by Eric Clapton. The intrumental solo is absolutely beautiful. I may even like it better than the first part. _________________ |
