I'm new to the site, but I've noticed that thumbnail view isnt using actual thumbnails, rather the whole image squished with width and height tags. Thats why it loads so slowly and it wastes a lot of bandwidth. It would be a big improvement to have real thumbnails.

They are real thumbnails.

the server software dynamically resizes the picture for thumbnail purposes using the GD graphics processing library.

Then I guess better wording would be, they aren't pretty thumbnails. Razz

I dont think its working man, when you right click on a thumbnail and get the address, it says its the full image.

And it takes a really long time to load each thumbnail, but when you click it loads the full image instantly. Like its already been loaded

Yeah I just looked at the page source and its just doing a width/height tag

well it seems to be all the thumbnail pages but just for instance this one
http://fanart.ctgameinfo.com/category.php?...e&sort=&start=0

The thumbs are just the big images with width/height set to 128. Notice my images load first since they're on a different site.

Apparently I missed fixing one of the thumbnail pages. My bad.

Its fixed now.

Note, images hosted offsite are not server side resized, they just use html resizing.
