I've listened to her songs, again, and again, but can't find why people like her music. Sounds like what Yokko Ono would sound like, although I've never heard her songs.

She can barely make any sound and speak English, people like Enya and Adimeus can make much better BGM then her, so why are people buying her CD's?

That's because Bjrk isn't human. I'm convinced she is either a government experiment gone rogue or an alien stranded on our planet, using her obscure and often downright frightening vocal noises as a homing becon, hoping to signal her own race. Unfortunately her communications were mistaken for music and she was unwittingly picked up by a major producing lable.

Wasn't Miss Swan off of MAD TV based on Bjork? I'm almost positive, but not sure...although if I'm if I'm right it really would explain why she was so odd. Laughing

People listen to Bjork so they can pretend they're artsy. And yes, she is very much like Yoko Ono. WTF?

The reason that I and others like Bjork is her AMAZING voice. It is the craziest voice ever. No one else on the planet has been born with a voice like that. Her songs are fun and eccentric and her voice goes along with that so well. I also believe she was put on mtv and vh1's Top 15 Vocalists list or somesuch.

Go there and listen to the song "Joga" and be swept away.

That song didn't really impress me all that much.

I saw her on Spaceghost one time. She was amusing to watch, at least.

I have nothing against her music but I don't like it. I agree about Enya being better. I actually enjoy Enya. Bjork is just kind of...there.

Josh Groban has an amazing voice. Freddie Mercury had an amazing voice. Bjork is... eh. I admit, she has talent, but she fails to use it. It's kinda like when you see excellent anime artists that only draw guro hentai. A waste of talent, you know? I wasn't really impressed by that song at all. :/ I think I enjoyed the accompaniment more than I enjoyed the vocals. And that usually says something about a singer.

Yeah I agree with Joioiu... She has a voice but doesn't power it up. She mostly just talks in tune... like Eminem.

Kinda wasted my time there, too.

Ok... after few months of sporadic Bjork treatment, I've concluded that I like many respect of her music execept her.

well...

For the song, human behaivior, the music video's horrible, bjork looks like that little girl from Leon but with a squashed face, and a some sort of pedobear running through the entire music video, but wow, I really like the bass.

Oceania - the vocal's horrible, the music video is non existant, the idea of your dress being unfurled to cover few thousand people of 150 different nationality in the middle of an olympic is more of a fetish than anything else, but it is sung in a cappella and I like that niche, so...

All is full of love - I like Lesbian robots.

Hunter - Oh god, one of the scariest music video I've seen, crappy CG work, and I have no idea where they are going with it, Dido accompaniment in some versions is decent.

If anyone knows a song where she doesn't randomly scream, go ahead, suggest!

Bjork wore a swan dress once. Bjork is my hero. I like to say her like like this: Buh-Jork.

I like Human Behaviour...because it's such a strange song and makes me think of aliens.
But other than that, I don't really listen to Bjork...I like softer, less alien-esque music (though, I listen to a few James Blunt songs...).
