Can't be. Since "que" on the whole is a "k" sound, you couldn't possibly pronounce it that way and add the "a" sound from the "", because once you end the "k" sound - "cohm u neek", the word's been finished. So I guess Brian was just abusing the "" for the sake of abusing it. 8]

...Unless I'm seriously missing something here and need to go back to French 10. o_o

But since Brian was just adding a "foreign" flair to it, I suppose it was never meant to be pronounced in the first place. :3

I just think that the "fan" part has to go, there is an INMENSE number of original artists in the site, and maybe taking the "fan" will help attract even more. Although it should be replaced with another word that starts with "F" for practical purposes.

IT's ALWAYS better to be the number one on one niche rather than be number 6 overall.

if we turn this site into a general one, there is no way to compete with Sheezy Art and Deviant Art.


The reason why this site is doing so well as it is because it's fanart friendly, and unlike Deviant Art and Sheezy Art, the pictures are categorized by the anime or show it is of. Most people come here are young fanbrats who can't spell. But they probably click on banners 10x more than older members and thus are the backbone of the site.

We're currenty number one on Fanart related site, (refer to Strata's sig) and we should not abondon that niche we've got.

Also, before I edited my sig because it wasn't doing what I wanted. You can't put the word "name" without it being changed to "aid" by the site. It's fixed, so now you can make a cheap attempt to lash at me.

I'm telling you that your sig is wrong in that is now how google works, and it is YOUR cheap attempt at lashing out against a mod. While mine is justified. Bashing Stupidity is fun.


Google does not pick up the site's name, it doesn't really care. What matters is the content. so.... Fanart Central was not in the first place for few years, since it was obscure and not many sites related to fanart provided links to Fanart Central. Only recently was it pushed to the top as the site grew. So why don't you shut up and stop pretending that you know how Google's complicated calculation on search inquries works, hmm?
