...really enjoyed the beginning episodes, but the latter ones had too much angst for my taste <_<

I'm not into full metal alchemist, but i like the character designs^^It only just started airing in Ontario 2 weeks ago on television, i feel sorry for my friend who bought, i think the whole series, its now airing. Oh well if i keep watching i might find out what all the hype is about.

Dude. It's been airing here for a while, and I would still buy the whole series if I had the money.

For FMA, it's totally worth it.

Ummm, then what channel, i should have said Toronto but i still could be wrong^^. I didn't mean ta offend you in anyway^^. Anyways Full Metal Alchemist has good designs by my taste, i know the basic story(from the internet), but im not that interested^^ I've never really been into mainstream tiltles except for Evangelion and X/1999. I'll say that you're right cuz conflict is a killer.

I just started watching FMA when it was aired in Ontario. I like it alot, now I know why so many people like it. I just recently found a site where I can watch the Japanese ones, boy was I happy. I don't mind the english I just fancy the japanese better, always have always will.

My friend introduced me to Fullmetal Alchemist, and I admit I was against it at first. I did NOT want to watch anything besides InuYasha(I know v.v) back then. But, I was staying the night at her house and it was on...So we watched it. And...I...loved it. <3<3 Steadily, I got more and more into it, until I was at the point where I was trying to get every single fact/spoiler/trivia thing about the plot for stories and drawings. I made my own character *points to avatar* and rather fangirlishly had her marry Roy *don't hurt me*.

But I really do love the anime and manga of FMA. It has everything I like in it. Violence(hell yeah), depth, drama, action, and a damn good storyline if I do say so myself. >:3 And it does have its funny moments where I'll be cracking up, and it has its moments where I'll have tears rolling down my cheeks. *coughlasttwoeppiescough* A very well-rounded anime. And it does have a little romance to it, since I think Rose actually did love him. XD The ending made me and my friend cry till we felt like we'd throw up. @_@

Oh man...saw the ending last night too...cried a friggin' river Sad

A little confused on how everything happened, but boy that sure didn't make any it happier....what a bittersweet ending to say the least, but left the watcher w/a promise of hope that the two brothers would be united someday...*sigh*...I feel the need to read some really good FMA fanfiction. ^_^

roy x nobody, plz Not a fan of romance in this anime...

Although Riza would be a lesser evil.

That one scene where Ed was like BAI SAY THX TO HER 4 ME made the movie automatically sadder than the anime. For me. :< I was like, no!! o_o

Really? I actually dislike romance in almost all animes, but RoyxRiza is the only one that I seem to like.

it is definately worth buying. It does continue the story and it will answer some questions. But it will make some new questions too though. Just watch it and see, but it's just awesome all together. I've seen it over ten times now and I still can't get enough of it. The last half of the movie is like...wow!!! W00t!
