Fac Appreciation Thread

I haven't found a pro-FAC thread anywhere. So, what do you like about Fanart Central? Why do you stay? As for me, I like staying here. The Forums has lots of interesting topics. Not every user here is Suzuhira Hiro or Da Vinci, but there's a lot of funny pictures. FAC is also easy to browse. I know lots of nice people. So, Fanart Central rules!

What I Like:

[*]How Random I Am Allowed To Be.(A certain other site I joined doesn't even have a random thread!) [*] The mods have a sense of humor, unlike the people in the certain other site I was referring to. [*] I have a couple of friends here.
And the only reason I ever go to DeviantArt is to leech on the many Photoshop Brushes offered, and other Photoshop stuff. It'd be nice if in the future FAC offered Photoshop brushes...

what drew me here was the size of FAC, how small it was, it was more personal, cstdenis talked to me on my first post :wub: everyone here has a voice, because of this. I was looking for a long time for the perfect art site to post my drawings.

what keeps me here is the potential. Basically, one man is making all this happen, and for the site to be this good, there has to be a bright future. Sure, there are many sitehelpers, and we do alot, but its all worth it, to keep this place up. The future plans are so great, this place will be twice as good, in my opinion, when the new site comes along.

when that happens, i'm hoping to have a whole new list of idea's to give to cstdenis to add to the site. ^_^

i was looking for a certain type of fan art and i found fac by accident.

the best mistake ever :wub:

it made me my best online friends, got me drawing my comics that i draw on occation.

this is actually one of the only site's i care for on the net. :wub:

i can't wait to see what it will be like in the future. W00t!

All of you guys! :wub: You guys are so random, yet can be serious too, and offer great help
The mods are funny, I agree, and they're nice too, but have their own personality.
FAC's categories are easy to look through whereas dA you have to search for it, but it usually doesn't even give you the show/movie/thing you're looking for.

The layout is easy to look through, kinda.

To keep it short, I just love FAC! The whole entire thing is like a dog to me! I love dogs too much to express myself toward it! Everyone has their own great personality and their own ways of Art! Its just an adventure that never ends for as long as it keeps up! Very Happy

I like it here because I understand how to do things on this site. It's easy to use. I like how you can post in the forums, even if you aren't an expert on whatever you are talking about... you can just be yourself, you don't have to pretend to be "elite" and try to impress people. And I like how you can make youself look like an idiot, but no one will hold it against you. I like how even the mods/admin/denis act like people, not like all knowing being that run the whole of everything.

In short FAC rules. I love the forums because a certain level of insanity is always here, or more accuratley is always here when people like powtaz and logan are on. plus we have : theteach: OWNED.

I dunno...It has it's upsides and downsides. I love all the personality here, and generally it is like a really community where you can talk to folks and actually have an amusing conversation...That being said, there are some people here who are bastards who sit around on their asses all day, suffering a midlife crisis and decide that to spread the "love" to others, they'll go onto a forum and act like dickheads.

But generally, I like the people and there are some truly gifted artists. I think the mods are (generally) fair, and that, yeah, while it's an autocracy, it's not a bad one.

With the main site,I like how everything is just so easy to figure out and that there aren't so many categories that it's overwhelming. ^^-

With the forums...well...it's just plain fun. ^^- So many people with different personalities,that share a common interest with you,it's kinda like a second home. ^^- Then again,I'm just a little geeky person that lives on the computer so...yeah...shutting up now... ^^;
