Pht, I doubt it. Preserved bodies are the in-thing now. First Gunther Von Hagens came along with his plasticized corpses in Bodyworlds, then some Chinese doctor (I think) starte doing much the same thing with the bodies of unwanted prisioners. Oddly preserved animal bodies seems liek a step down the shock ladder from that.

That said, I completely love this site... and all things considered her prices are pretty reasonable. $18 for a cleaned opossum skull seems like a lot less that what I remember boilogy supply places charging for their animal skulls....

the term "art" has gotten way out of hand lately. I GUESS you could call that art, in some sick way. different people have different views or ways of expressing it I guess. But I must say, I'm not a fan of that type

I think this is a whole lot more artistic than when people draw three vertical lines on a piece of paper and yell at you that you need to "UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT!"

I honestly don't see any reason why this wouldn't be art. People make crafts out of animal parts all the time. Bone carvings, leather crafts, even taxedermy is kind of like a form of sculpture. All this stuff is is taxedermy with an original twist to it (other than the jars of squirrel heads and stuff, which are more like biology classroom supplies)
I wonder how a person goes about getting into taxidermy.
well you wait till your cat or dog dies (of if you cant wait OWNED.) then you tear out all of the insides  and stuff it i guess, then show your parents how good you are. probaly not the best thing in the world to do but hey people will be people.

and on some poeple would get a taxadermist to do there pet to keep the memory alive.

I don't think I'd mind taking up taxedermy.... Maybe it's a proffession for people who like to think that they're zombies.

Wow. Just wow. To me, that is really interesting. It's new, yet very disturbing at the same time. At least those animals won't die un-known. xD; They get to be famous..in a way.

H'okay. That stuff is actually cool beyond belief. If I had the money, I'd buy some of them. Whoosh, decorating the house with squirrel heads sounds rather entertaining.

Not really. They did it in Ancient Greece to mix horses with people, making centaurs.
And the animals are dead when she gets them...so it isn't really cruel. Basically, it's a choice between cut up and turned into something cool/wierd, or being eaten by things you can't even see. I'm not sure which one I'd choose...

I don't like it at all. Grr! I really think it is sick. I know they were already dead an all that, but it looks so cruel. The way that she's added extra heads to those lambs and extra legs... Urgh ... just an animal lover through and through... But still, that is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen!! How could anyone ever want to buy something like that <_< --- just sharing my thoughts
