With only one pic, it's hard to tell. But I haven't seen that image anywhere before.

Depending on how long ago it was posted, we could just wait for the person to upload more art. Eventually they'll be cleared of suspicion or caught.

I think this is one of those times where the artist needs to prove their innocence. Maybe a mod can e-mail them about it?

Well, if they're lying to the whole site, I sincerely doubt they'll tell the truth to a single mod. :/

I meant that they could be made to prove to a mod that the work is theirs. Sketches or in-progress saves. If that doesn't work then I suppose we just have to wait for them to submit another pic.

Not everybody save sketches and in-progress files. I know I clear my personnal archives every now and then, I'd be hard-pressed to prove that some of my pics are mine in that fashion.

And quite frankly, I agree that with only one pic that nobody has been able to trace to another source, it's next to impossible to tell. I think FAC works on an "innocent until proven guilty" kind of system rather than the other way around.

Just because something looks good doesn't mean it's stolen.. Waiting around for him/her to upload something else or looking for other sites like dA that that person might have posted on would be a good idea.

usual around here at fac we have a lot of amatures not like deviant art so it more than likely here, that is why it was questionable.
