I think it's 8.4 or something here. It's gone down a lot recently, anyway. |

O.K. In Shetland - Britain
Petrol - 99.9p per litre
Deisel - 99.9p per litre
I don't know what that is in dollars but it is pretty expensive up here. And we're the ones closest to the north sea oil rig and we have the biggest oil refinery in Europe. And still our prices are way higher than the mainland. Grrr. |

Unleaded and Deisel are the same price in the Shetlands? I suppose it's the problem of accessability. Don't think it'd be any picnic getting all the way up there. ^_^
But what do I know? The furthest North I've ever been is Dundee. _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

The prices changes here have never been that bad...I think the price went up from
$2.50 to $2.59 the next day once. I could see a really giant price jump like that
happening in a larger city or during a gas scare, but the gas prices in the USA have
gone up b/c the price of crude oil barrels went up again.
