Is there any possible way of having a working club account at FAC?
Is it against the rules?
Can the club get advertisement on the main page?

It's called [i]fanart[/i] central for a reason. People come here to see pictures of inuyasha, not generic OCs (and most of them are [i]really[/i] boring, interesting to no one but the artist themself in the first place).

You can't complain about lack of attention where OCs don't even really belong. They're just still allowed because we understand people who do fanart usually do some original work as well, and it's easier for them to keep it all in one place.

But it doesn't change the fact it's a site for fanart and not OCs.

Clubs are destined to fail 99% of the time, especially on a site like fac (or da) with no good system for them.

No, but I don't understand the point. It's like going to elfwood and complaining about people not liking your drawing of a vase of flowers (even though that wouldn't be accepted in the first place, you get what I mean).

It's kinda like being a rebel! Oh my, AP Euro history in my head again. What is first not accepted is rejected until it keeps coming back. Take, when the impressionists first started. They got rejected, then the Salon des Refuses was made so the public decide whether they should be rejected or accepted. Now, impressionism is an accepted and admired part of art. Hmm...this suddenly doesn't seem like it fits at all...

The impressionists put on their own show aside from the Salon des Refuse. It's not that anyone is rejecting OCs as art, just not art that's appropriate for the subject matter of this site any more than the impessionists would have accepted a Cabanel piece in their show.

But you can't come to [i]fanart[/i] central and be annoyed when you don't get attention. Your lame half demon character isn't what those 40,000 people are here to see, too bad.
