Sewing is something I have always been mentally retarded with. What fabric did you use, it looks like colored pencil that you used for the face or am I wrong? Anyways sweet job
It's faux suede. I painted the eyes on white cotton and stuck 'em on. 'Cause it's too much pressure to do it directly on the suede. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

I've been on a hiatus as I moved house (now I have a very own mortgage of my own, aww!) Fortunately I can still sketch a bit at work. Here's what I'll be finishing sometime in the future, though still a hell of a lot of refining to go. |

Being doing this since November last year:

I really only spend an hour or so on this every once in a long while so it's a slow progress...but it helps keep me from rushing and try to finish it as soon as possible. Though now I've recently being doing it more often...
Don;t do much digital art but I'm starting to like this visually...except the freaking moutains...
edit: Alright...maybe the image was smaller than I thought. Stpid photobucket... _________________ Makes you wonder, doesn't it? |

Naomi, such an excellent looking piece this is the latest inking of Iri for the Angels summer pic. I have to throw in some other chairs poolside and some items around her like coppertone and a tall ice tea or something like that.

I totally missed that you had complimented my plants AmyH! Thank you! Most of the plants were based on plants found around the Banyan Tree Park in Lahaina Hawai'i. |

I'm thinking about creating a Comic strip of Invader Zim. But IDK if it will have a place here at FAC. I have a sample of how it will look as soon as it gets approved(It's a pic of ZIM). But if things don't work out. I might just toss the idea. |

Hey, I love 009. ^_^
Wow, Lizkay...how do you get that nice shiny, streaky look with the hair?
I need to color this picture. I'm really not very well practiced in Photoshop yet, so I'm feeling intimidated. >_<

Haha, Angela, that's awesome.
I was looking at dragon pictures and ws inspired to draw something with scales.
It's turned out to be a huuuuge pain in the butt, though... but I like how it looks so far. Kinda. I should stick to anime. ><
This is probably going to be huge, I didn't resize. |

Simple pencil portrait of Garrett (the guy in my avatar, and my current OC fixation). I don't know why I've been drawing him so much lately. He's just... fun. D:
Sorry it's bad quality. I had to take it with my digicam. _________________ FAC

@CosmicDebris
That is all mainly painted on stroke by stoke. Though, I didn't shade with real highlight there, it is useful if you take your brush and give it a light color, (light yellow, light orange.. whatever) and set it's setting (Mode) to Linear Dodge and very less opacity around 10% or so, and add the light that way.. that gives nice effects..
Here is a WIP sketch, digitalized for a Tutorial Book, tried to archieve shading areas on a sketch so that it looks more 3D, this one will be inked and painted digital

I pretty much killed that Garrett portrait. D: I guess I'll try uploading it anyway.
He looks like a rapist. :(
Anyway, I started this up in art class, just to make it look like I was doing something (because I really don't want to work on my painting). It was partly inspired by my old "Female Diabound". And I just felt like drawing some topless chick. Even though she has nearly no breasts to speak of. O WELL.
The camera cut off her feet, the tip of her spear, and some of her tail. :/
Question: Would this need to be rated higher than PG-13 because it's a nude woman, even though her chest is nearly as flat as a male's? I mean, really, I've seen guys with bigger moobies than this on this site.
Actually, come to think of it, why is the female chest considered offensive? _________________ FAC |

This piece I sketched out a couple weeks ago, Its my favorite singer Kyo from the band Dir en Grey. I started painting a bit ago but I've been procrastinating. School inside project. All warm colors pain wise! I'm excited to get into it more!

Yay, the picture I previously posted is complete, and is in my gallery now~
Anyway, not counting this little experiment thinger I did (which I liked a LOT better...), this is pretty much my first digital art. It's all shiny and photoshop-y, which makes me sad, but I guess it's coming out alright for my first time.
lolz maskless turkey boy. You'd wear a mask too. ;D
EDIT: Update on the pic. Got the missing eye part done, as well as the face (aside from some touchups)... He's starting to look really girly. Dx Dammit. It's the lips and the eye, isn't it? >(
The hair's a bitch. I fail at hair. SOMEONE HELP ME PLZ DDD: _________________ FAC |
