Ahhh yes the prelude to summer block movies are beginning I've even heard they're re-doing "The Omen" well at any rate none have really caught my attention other than this movie when I saw the previews for it I thought it was a sequel to the devils rejects. (didnt see that movie though)
Anyone have any info or atleast fond of this movie |

Are you kidding me? They're remaking this? Awful, awful, awful.
AND The Omen? Let's go ahead and remake Rosemary's Baby while we are butchering classics. I loathe the day they start remaking the classic horror series, like Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th. /sigh |

I bet I could write one hella good remake script for Rosemary's Baby. I say this in all seriousness. _________________

I'd like to see that if you ever got so bored you ended up doing it.
I know Hollywood would butcher it so that teenage kids turned out to be the one's at the end and not old people. Gotta modernize it and make it appeal to the little kiddies.
I think it's a better movie because it's old people at the end. It's creepy that way, o.O. |

I say fuck the ending all together. The movie was better until you found out what was going on. I soooo wanted it to all be in her head. That she was just really going crazy and nothing was being plotted against her. _________________

Hmm, that would've been interesting. Would've changed the movie completely for me, but not necessarily in a bad way. I like the old people though, what's creepier than satanic old people. Aw, look at me trying to conceal spoilers for people who may not have seen it. XD |

I didn't like the ending. I made up my own involving robots. _________________

Yes when I first saw the previews to it I thought they had the mask from the texas chainsaw massacre at any rate Im alittle caught off gaurd by the fact they're remaking "the omen" that series kicked-ass (Aside from the fourth one that one sucked)
"You have won Nazerine, BUT FOR WHAT ?" *dies* *ending credits show subtitles from revelations.
I still say they should have had "King of kings" for the ending song or played while *cough* the beast dies. |

avy i swear to the almighty presence that is god.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE IT IS THE MOST DISTURBING THING I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO SEE.
i mean just the things that go on in this movie can mentally scar you. i'm never going to watch another clip of this movie again.
something this disturbing has never once made me feel so disturbed.
i've seen s**t man. i've even swept a lady of the road and picked up a finger that i found from her.
but this movie beats out RE4 on gorryness and anything i've ever seen. ogrish has nothing compared to this movie.
trust me kid's never watch it. i plead to you stay away from it keep your friends away from it and just never get near it. save yourselves. i was () this close from walking out on this movie.
and i NEVER walk out on a movie _________________ I'm a bit silly on the goofy side on nonsense. ^_^ |

hawk, its good publicity when you rant about a movie that way, dude. People are going to want to know what all the fuss is about now.
anyway. whats worse than hollywood "butchering" movies are the moviegoers who cry about it. You only get two, maybe three good to great movies a year. everything else is mediocre to terrible. Understand that. It's true, so why complain? the crew of 'The Hills have eyes' aren't trying to move you or bring tears to your eyes or win any awards. Most movies dont try that. They go for entertainment. Stats say that means more gore, action, sex and beautiful people attract you idiots to the theatres. So stfu cus you get what you ask for. leave the real critiquing and criticizing to the assholes who get paid to do it.
another thing i hate is when people automatically assume a movie cannot outdo its classic. rosemarys baby sucked beyond all reason, because you've seen it doesnt mean you are now a movie history buff. The plot was a good idea, but the story failed. most movies about satan and all the wrong in the world had a high impact in that era. So it makes a splash with the moviegoers then, people have been talking about it since, and today you think it cannot be matched. Writers and directors are more creative now, graphics are obviously much better. the acting is better among most new actors now, though i really like the acting in the 60's and 70's. If scream 1, 2 and 3 came out back then you'd be talking about it now just like you're talking about rosemarys baby. its the era a movie comes out in that makes it memorable. the way it affects veiwers and gets them talking about it. Most people say Citizen Kane is the best movie ever made, remake it now and everyone would be like "WTF". Guess its actually not the best movie ever made. screw the camera angles and s**t, like rosemarys baby, it had me yawning. give me a closeup gunshot blow to the head to make me jump instead of a view from a guys feet any day. Though i didnt like Scream, if it had come out in the 60's with its gore and forshadowing and all the little creative things they used, it would have had an even bigger inpact. Like i said, the era a movie comes out in. Remember the rash of revenge related movies? Punisher, Man on Fire, all those that came out together. Well now the fad is over with, so make another revenge type movie now and it will bomb. The same thing with zombie movies. 28 days later, resident evil, the "...of the dead" movies. Noones going to make a zombie movie now, that trend has passed. But i bet if you make a terrorism movie the right way now, it would be big. Anyway, what i mean is, you're using the impact a classic had back then and comparing it to the impact its remake will have now. And thats not fair when you have not seen the new movie, since the classic has had its time to prove itself to an audience, and the new movie has not. It's not going to be good if you dont give it a chance. If todays Walking Tall came out the same time as the original, it would have blown the original away with the comedy and the blonde chick on the stripper pole and the rock  who is just awesome.
anyway, i keep drifting away from what i'm really trying to say. just because a movie awed a bunch of hippies does not make it the best thing EVAR
but one classic that is actually still hard to match would be the texas chainsaw massacre. Which is also so much better than rosemarys baby. its graphics were awesome. that goes for The Thing too. graphics, awesome.
but i do agree that remakes tend to use a full cast of beauty pageant contestants to attract an audience. which totally kills any acting quality they would have gotten had they chosen the intelligent and seasoned girl who sadly just happens to have small breasts. _________________ "edit : i luv james" - Layzcarter |

I've seen trailers for this movie and they all seemed to be riddled with cliches from other massacre horror films. Yay. Can't say too much, though, since trailers have a tendency to be misleading.
Anyway, it's doubtful I'd see it anyway because I have little stomach for gore. Just hearing you talk about some finger you picked up off the road, Hawk, is enough to creep me out for the rest of the night. What can I say, the brain is a powerful tool. _________________

I just saw that movie, wasn't exactly what I expected, most of the good scenes went too fast to even know what happen. _________________
