Ff7getting A Ribbon...help!

I have been trying to beat Savior Sephiroth for weeks now and it's really frustrating me. Banghead

I think a Ribbon would help me beat the game and move on in my life. I know to get one you have to morph a master tonberry, but I was a dumb-ass and sold my morph materia early on in the game and can't retrieve it again. Is there any other way I can get a Ribbon? PLEASE HELP ME!

Gil is so easy to make; I can't fathom why you'd want to sell any materia. Or sell anything in general, for that matter. :|

I dunno, there's probably one or two in chests. Not sure, but you could also probably try looking in Gold Saucer's battle arena.

But still. Safer Sephiroth is easy to kill if you know what you're doing, with or without Ribbons.

Don't remember anything about Ribbons but Sephiroth is pretty easy. Use one character for constant healing if you are a low level and pile on the hurt on Sephiroth with the other two. Summons will help, esspecially Knights of the Round, but physical attacks and limits are usually the best for damage. Cast Wall at the start of the battle for extra protection.

Don't be afraid to used there best weapons either as it is the last battle and gaining AP doesn't matter

LOL I killed Safer Sephiroth before I had a chance to use Knights of the Round, AND Vincent was Chaos'd. 8D

Like I said before, he's really easy if you know what you're doing.

Ribbon won't help. He didn't use many status effects, if I remember correctly.

Also, you can only get a ribbon in the temple of the ancients, waaaaay back.

+ the black materia destroyed said temple...

I didn't have Knights of the Round either when I fought him cause I was too lazy to do that chocobo thing at the time. And I was like 10 at the time too so I just wanted to kill things Smile

I think I used Cid, Barret and Cloud when fought him and just used the Attack Command most of the time, and Limits when they were availible. Magic is pretty useless compared to a good physical attack.

Another way to get Morph is to kill the Emerald Weapon and take it's drop (the Earth Harp I think it's called) to the man in Kalm who asks for it. He'll give you 3 Master Materia. (Magic, Command and Summon) The Master Command Materia will have Morph on it, so you can use it.

just hack at Savior Sephiroth with 4xCut. But a hint is to use Debarrier when he uses Wall. ^_^

Actually if he does get Knights of the Round he could use Debarrier than the Knights and kill him. (Thats how I do it just to make it easy).
