hey you guys the naruto series will be airing on Cartoon Network once again on
4-15-2006.... yah its back on and i cant wait.... im a major Naruto Fan!!!!! ^^

I heard that they'd be over after epsidoe 185.. And it's at.. 179 now I think. So.. soon?

They assumed that they would end around 182 (The people from Pierrot Studios announced the ending of the fillers around spring), but when the title of 183 got reveiled it seems it was still concerning Stars (Something like: "The Star that radiates") and because of the fact they're in a filler about the Star Country....that doesn't really make me hope for the series to pick up the mangastoryline again.

Second of all...because of all this filler-ness...Naruto received the lowest ratings in Japan ever. If they continue to produce crap like this...Naruto really will go Kenshin sooner or later.... Sad

And...it's totally destroying the character Naruto in general. Which is a shame, 'cause he isn't really a continue rasenganbunshin-abuser in the rest of the manga....

The dub s**t wasn't bad tonight actually. They started showing blood. It's a start, now to get a new voice for Naruto and I'll be mildly happy.

Mm.. [i]some[/i] of the fillers are okay. That star thing they're doing now is okay.. but some are just really bad.. like the one about the rich kid.. and the postmen ninja.

ah, naruto...one of my favorite animes...
and i have to say that cartoon network killed it.
'believe it!!' <-- that's just so...lame...
and they took out the swearing and most of the blood...the two things i loved naruto for...besides sasuke of course...but whatever.

After reading some of the manga and watching the anime...Cartoon network changed alot of it. The words, entire phrases and alot of scenes were different.

I would have to agree with that statement.

One of my friends has the entire Naruto anime series on a seperate computer harddrive, in Japanese so he has to use subtitles. Granted, I've not seen the Japanese version of the Naruto Anime yet, as he has not let me watch it, since he showed it to me at school. Is it any better?

I noticed alot was changed too. I liked the books myself but I could see why they changed some of it. Parts weren't as they would call it exciting enough and others would have taken to long to do. The books are also better in the fact that there aren't as many recaps as in the show. I wait a whole week to see an episode and it's a recap. It makes me feel like it was all wasted time.

I AGREE.... yes i love the show with all my heart and i LOVE the book....(have all of them up too date) and it is much better in the manga you do not get the recaps..... but i also love the way their faces are expressed... ^^

The three new episodes that were shown on Saturday gave me a bit more love for the dub. Once you get over the voices it's not so bad. I've stopped hating it so much now. Plus I never really liked Zazuba or his boring arc either.

Chuunin arc FTW.

I like the manga more than anything. Though I'm not fond of the Viz translations so I just download it. It got boring for a bit, but it's started to get better as of late.

Indeed it does. I still need to check out 304 sometime this weekend. I got distracted by a lovely new manga they put up on my download site.

Tonight is the night of the new dub, too bad there's not going to be anything of any interest to me on it. Well maybe one thing, but meh. Mayn, I wish the dub would hurry up...

I'm getting impatient to see some of my favorite fights.

Lol, yeah. I noticed that too.. a while ago. The start of the arc with Sasori and Deidara is scanlated weirdly. Notice how the pronouns for Deidara switch between male and female. XD
