These grpahics are supposedly "Not the best the PS3 can do, and only a small insight into its actual power"

Won't happen. Period. The profits they make from their games more than compensate for the small (relatively speaking) loss per console.

$50? That's nothing! They'll be losing a lot more than that; and that's largely due to the inbuilt Blu-Ray player they've got.

Micrsoft?!

Its meant to take to G4TV, a certain show where they were at E3005 9As it was named) and were speaking to (I forget the companies name)'s manager, who should talk us through a demo of UT 2007 (Unreal tournament 2007).

Nothing? When I heard this, it was quite something. Still, I haven't invested in the games world as of recently. :/ Maybe I should.

WOW.PS3 rules?That amazing.I hope they dont screw up with their promise of a better console.You know, maybe they could launch a false date to make fool those microsoft guys.I mean,those guys said they will release HALO3 at the same time PS3 will be release.When PS3 is release,some people will probably will divert their attantion to buy HALO3 which would be a bad news to SONY.But i doubt that Microsoft would force Bungie to make the game release date on the same day the PS3 will be release.It's unethical.

OMG!! Sony said they would only release a million PS3 consoles in Japan on March(this past March), then another million in the US after 6 months. Or was it the other way around. Or am I wrong? Who cares, anyway?! I gotta have me one! They said it would cost 500$, similar to the 360. That's good to hear. I was never really loyal to the Xbox. Probably because of its limited titles. And one apparent reason is that court says that Microsoft monopolizes everything they get their hands on(At least that's what I heard). I'm not biased, I just heard this from several sources. The only games I considered playing in the Xbox are the DOA, PGR and Halo series.

My vote goes to the PS3. I've seen several Xbox owners cowering before the release of the PS3. ...Said it could be more formidable than the 360, and the online capabilities will be a whole lot better. I dunno??? I'm just looking forward to my favorite PS titles: DMC4, MGS4, VisionGT and Tekken, even though they're just cliche'd. Oh, don't get me wrong about the 360. I still like it. It was my second choice, since I'm not a person who sticks with limited games on my center table. It's sad for me that my favorite racing titles switched to the 360, like Test Drive Unlimited and Ridge Racer 6(forgive me for my addiction in racing games). I hope they come out on the PS3. As for the Revolution...don't care.

I wish I could buy both...even just one of the next-gen. consoles. Sadly, I don't have enough "wawarts"($$$$$$$$$). Thankfully, there are still some new worthwhile games on the PS2 like FFXII and KH2, meaning I could still "waste some time" on them while waiting for my money to build up. PS3PS3PS3PS3PS3PS3...............I expect flames, but I hope there arent any.

But buisness isn't ethical. Its about who buys and who buys your opponent. And sicne most Xbox 360 owners will be sitting on the edge of their seats for Halo 3, and releasing it on the same day will give them one reason to go to the game store. Either to buy a PS3 or Halo 3.

Thats buisness, survival of the fittest, especially in such a competetive market, games being essential to alot of 8-14+.

I'm getting both when/if I can. One thing that gets me wary is the Blue-Ray technology that Sony is using. It is incredibly expensive and complex to manufacture, which in turn means pricier games, and possibly even fewer nitch or quirky games, the games that are often the most creative or innovative but take chances on their sales to be so. Blue-Ray may also not win the format war with the cheaper HD-DVD. If Blue-Ray isn't a success, Sony will be floundering.

On the flip side, though DVD (what 360 is using) is inexpensive and easy, it doesn't hold as much. And though a current Xbox/PS2 game only takes up about half the space, who knows how much space future 360 games will need and if they may need more than one disk?

They've got enough disk space already, they just need to use it better. (IMHO.)

Yeah, Sony & Microsoft are battling over the next DVD standard. Sony lost the previous video standards war (Betamax vs. VHS), they don't want a repeat now.

I have heard rumors that there will be future 360 games that will require up to 4 disks to the game (a la Final Fantasy VII). But again, these are but rumors and hearsay.
