Lent Is Over

It's Easter...now, a question.

There was a thread several weeks ago asking the members what they were gonna give up for the Lenten season. Some listed 2 or 3 sacrifices and some even more than they could handle. So, I'm just curious...what did some of you say you were supposed to give up but then decided it was too much and caved before Lent was over, and what DID you give up for 40 days without flipping?

I was supposed to give up meat, video games, and several days(during lent) in FAC. And I was supposed to devote more time on prayers and household chores. Unfortunately, video games and FAC were too much for me to sacrifice. So I kinda caved a bit a few days during the start of Lent, several days before and after Holy week. Talk about commitment. Gotta have my dose of video games.*drool*

I didn't commit anything, although I wonder what I would be able to sacrifice. I tend to give in more often than naught sad to say Sad

I tried to give up the following things (not all at once, when I failed at one I took up another)
Swearing
Soda
My PS2
Snacks

I failed all of them by the 4th day of lent.

I gave up video games! And I succeeded! XD
It was hard, though...with Kingdom Hearts II coming out last month and me not being able to go and buy it... Sad

I'm going to go buy it tomorrow! Can't today, all the stores are closed.

I tried giving up dessert and even chocolate. My god, I failed.

But, as I've heard that you guys do, I didn't eat meat. ...And that's cuz I'm a vegetarian.

i didnt do it but my mates gave up chocolate and chrisps and chips. I felt kinda sorry for them. they suceeded though.
