Why Does [character] Have Such Stupid Fans?

Well.. to think about fangirls who are almost "drooling" for one game char from Legend of Zelda games... Yes, you know that i am talking from Link, Hero of Time. Just thinking how much they "scream" for him when it comes to very good-looking pic from him. And what we find mostly when we search pics from him? Mostly fanart and some other pics... . . . .

Oh my god! If I get a quarter for everytime I see a 'fangirl-bash-thread on FAC' I'd be a millionaire right now. I agree that some fangirls are annoying, but to see threads like this the entire time....serious.....that's also pretty much something I can call 'annoying'.

I don't understand the purpose of threads like this, I don't understand why people need to generalize other people like "You fangirl over *insert character here* than you're goth, emo and obsessed with pointy objects". With all do respect, Touzoku-jou, I think you're an awesome artist but you need to get over this anti-fangirl thing....

They're just girls in their pre-teens swooning over some characters, practically kids! Don't like to see their OC's? Don't go their profiles. Do they comment on your art with a stupid remark? Ignore them.
I seriously think there are much more annoying things going on on FAC than fangirls.

And before everyone goes like Fayore once did in the terms of "Closed fangirl lololol":
I semi-fangirl over Gaara (with semi I mean I do see Gaara as pen and ink, not as a real person, and I don't have any OC's/Mary-Sue's based on me that are mysterious and beautiful and end up being his first love) and I like to collect figurines of him. Oh and...I'm not goth or emo or whatever. Just a little bit tired of stupid threads like this.

There are fangirls, some are stupid...but hell...they're just 12/13 years old! Let them be in their happy world of fangirling, when they're older they probably can laugh about it.

This may be why I lost interest of Inuyasha... because everyone obsesses over Sesshomaru. And I think I am starting to drift away from Naruto too, because of half the girls at our school who watch the 1st 10 episodes & immediately say "[i]Sause-u-ke[/i] is the hawtest thang I seen!"

Luckily I managed to lose interest in Inuyasha after the third season, once I met it's [internet] Fandom it just creeped me out.
I'd like to add, Sasuke is nothing interesting, there's tons of generic emo boys with sh*tty haircuts in anime.

Sasuke bugs me. I never really liked the quiet broody angstmuffins in anime. I think one of the few male characters I actually like in that series [i]is[/i] Naruto, because he has a personality that I can relate to. And he actually has emotions. Unlike Sasuke.

Naruto's a pretty cool character, but people tend to hate him because of the person that dubbed him.

OMFG! Using wrong German grammar & words really makes you look cool! Props for you! Pfail isn't even a word, and I won't even start at 'everythung'! Failing in German is 'versagen'...makes you look a lot cooler if you used that word, 'cause than I might be really impressed!

i agree wif absotootly everything Smexykage-sama said. i REALLY hate when people generalize fangirls! we're not ALL the same squealy drooly crazed peoples.....

i LOVE Kurama from YYH. he's absolutley my fav bishie (not my fav character of all time....those are Yusuke and Kuwabara) and im not afraid to admit that i used to be a drooling zombehh fangirl who squeals and whatnot. i still squeal when i see a really great pic of him, because i think he's cute! (but that usually only happens when im REALLY hyper) just lookit him wif those big adorable green eyes! i mean, im STILL [i]obsessed[/i] with Kurama. im even making my own KuramaxOC doujin!

[b][i][u] BUT!!![/b][/i][/u] im not ecactly sure how to make this understandible, but the Kurama that IM obsessed with, that im putting in my doujin is REALLY different from the Kurama in the TV show. i sort of changed him around and almost made [i]him[\i] an OC as well 00. i HATE Kurama in the anime! he's a LOT less annoying in the manga! so, gradually i pretty much made up a whole new Kurama, who still looks the same with the same general fighting stuffs, but is well....less.......anime-Kurama-annoying (if anyone knows what im talking about) and THAT'S the Kurama im obsessed with. there's times where im about ready to kill the anime Kurama!

im not sure if anyone understood a word i was saying, but i was really desperate to make a point and im not totally sure i did......^^() *hides in a corner* (dont hurt me!)

Uh, oh...another anti-fangirl thread. I wish I knew half of the characters mentioned in this thread O.o I don't look at Naruto, YuGiOh, or some of the other ones mentioned. I guess a lot of the patterns mentioned, I never really bothered to notice.

I admit, I am a Sesshomaru and Kurama fan to a certain extent: I draw them a lot and for 2D creations, they aren't bad on the eyes. But I wouldn't have a virtual fight with another girl over them or anything... :/

As far as I can remember this thread was actually closed do to spam... (when all the threads were migrated to the new forums the locked ones became unlocked). Which is what will happen to it now.
