Got 88% of the Journal done its just the minigames that I need now.
I heard (if you didn't know) that if you complete the journal on standard you get a secret ending or if you just beat proud.

How do you guys feel about the gummy ships? I feel that it's hard, but that's probably because i need to make my own ship that's better than the okay ones they give. I watched my cuz play it, and WOW. He got Superior rank of all the missions, except the third missions.

My sis picked up the game the day it came out.

She also beat it in a week... on Beginner mode.

She had a LOT of trouble against one of the Organization guys (not sure which one), and Sephiroth slew her in five seconds flat. Seriously, Sephiroth opened that battle with a combo (she took like 7-8 hits), she got maybe two hits in on hi mfrom the air, then he finished her off with an aerial combo. Ouch.

She's starting over on Proud mode, and me... I figured I'd do Proud mode from the start.

The opening movie is cool how it sorta recaps KH1 and CoM, and then, out of nowhere you start playing as Roxas.

...eh, who?

Well, Twilight Town is a pretty cool place and you get to do some fun stuff in the opening six days. Things start getting real weird, and Axel took me out on the first encounter. That dreamlike sequence on day 3 totally paralells the first KH, but that boss was quite a bit tougher than KH1's opening boss.

And the Reaction commands? Pure awesomeness.

That last fight against Axel was pretty climactic for the opening sequence, shame Axel died (though I kinda liked him in CoM better, his KH2 voice actor sounded... a bit weird). That duel-wielding battle was awesome (favorite line: Axel shouting "Burn, baby!" as he lights the floor on fire), and seeing Roxas absolutely crush him with two Keyblades was... well, awesome again.

Roxas's final line: "Looks like my summer vacation is... over...."

And then, just like that, KH2 title, Sora's back, the "real" game begins.

Sora's new digs? I kinda noticed Sora is a little taller in KH2, and
So far I've been through Mulan's world and Beast's castle.

Those spear-wielding enemies in Mulan were pretty annoying, but that was mostly because in many cases it was a "morale" battle. I lost due to lack of morale more often than I was actually killed by them.

I like how Mushu remembers Sora from KH1 (DiZ: "Soon, he'll be like an old friend who's just gone away for a year...." Indeed.) .

A few totally weird things happened to me in Beast's castle. First, after saving Beast, I switch Sora into Overdrive to dispatch some of the Large Body heartless (those guys are tougher now than before), and just as I'm about to finish smashing the last enemy in the room to dust I notice Sora isn't wearing his red Valor Form colors, but... he's like a black shadow except for white eyes, and he's attacking the enemies in a very feral fashion. (I hear it's called "Anti-Sora"). No idea how that happened.

Then, I fought the boss in the ballroom, fairly easy fight when suddenly the boss breaks apart and turns into a larger, tougher monster... I use the Reaction commands to clothesline it on the chandelier a few times, but the monster manages to return the favor at one point... Donald KO, Goofy KO, then my HP low and Sora gets KO....

It gives me choices of "I won't give up yet!" and "It's all over..." instead of the usual Continue/Load Game, and when I select the first choice, who shows up but the king Mickey himself? Black robe, Keyblade in hand... and playable! Mickey does some serious damage to the boss, then revives Sora, and I finish the boss off.

I did notice one interesting little glitch in KH2. Not really a glitch, just an oversight. When you're fighting any battle that leads into a cut-scene, if you transform Sora into Overdrive form near the end of the battle (i.e. defeat the last of the enemies before Sora changes back), then in the cutscene that follows, Sora will still be shown wearing his Overdrive colors!

As for the Gummi Ships... I notice the editor is a little more flexible this time around. Took me a little while to get used to the new controls though. Anyway, I designed two custom Ships, one modeled after an X-wing and one modeled after an F-14 jet. They look cool, move about easily, and can take a fair share of hits.

The Gummi Levels are ferocious. I haven't been able to get higher than a 'C' ranking so far, but that's a lot of ships you get to shoot down, and some of the larger ones are quite aggressive and just about bury you in a blizzard of shots.

Awesome game.

I just finished it, but darnitall I didn't get the journal complete. How the frig am I supposed to get over 1000 orbs in Phil's training session? The highest I've gotten is 234. And I've had the same trouble with Sephiroth. I guess that's what happens when you take him on at level 45.

I noticed the overdrive thing too Strata. I love doing that, especially in Space Paranoids. And Anti-Sora, yeah, you can't pick up items, you can't revert, your strength and defense is lowered, and Drive Gauge orbs make your DG lower. Anti is what happens if you use a certain form too many times. My friend uses Valor all the time and has about a 25% chance of turning into AS.

And Axel was the bomb. So was Setzer lol. I never played CoM, so I didn't have a problem with Axel's voice. Fair warning for anyone not too far in the game: You have to go to so many worlds before the main plot is progressed in the beginning...

Axel ain't dead yet.

Aerith's voice is better than KH1, and so is Leon's. I was thoroughly disappointed in Cid, though.

Ok I figured it out my gummi ships are no longer sideways!
I like using (so far my favorite ship) Highwind Lv.8.
Sephiroth- hardest squareenix boss..............stronger than the Neslug in FFX
Hey I got a new record against Sephiroth take 2 bars out at (this is my problem) 53! Almost beat him with no items, no abbilites, no accesorries, and only the Kingdom Key in 1. But Sin Harvest got to me....

Yeah, KH2 certainly was a good game. The fighting system was much more fluid than the first, and they were so kind to give use control of the camera.

The aerial combos were so much fun to watch in my opinion. It made even the shortest fight very, very fun for me.

Cid's new voice was sort of crap though. The gummi ship system was much more enjoyable as well. Much more of a challenge and didn't get to be a hassle.

So of the boss fights were a bit too easy. Except the members of the Organization, they were still a right fun challenge.

Axel's voice in CoM (read: battle sound FX) was a few notes lower than his voice in KH2.

I've been having quite a blast with the KH2 Gummi Ship levels as well. After figuring out how the editor worked, I built a Gummi ship that resembles an F-14 jet, and I've been slowly upgrading it with stronger weapons as I go along.

And then there's the Teeny Ships. My favorite formation is the one where they trail behind your ship, 2nd fav to that being the one where they flank you tightly and fire straight ahead.

I've acquired a few of the Special Models... the Tonberry and Moogle, as well as the Kingdom ship -- the default Gummi Ship, but it has two Teeny Ships that look just like it!

So when I fly through a Gummi level, we're talking:
(main ship) 2x Fira-G + 1x Ultima-G
(2x Teeny Ships) 2x Fire-G + 1x Comet-G (total 4x Fire-G, 2x Comet-G)

Lays waste to whole swarms of the smaller enemies. I love the larger enemies that appear, since in KH1 there weren't any seriously large Gummi enemies (perhaps due to the fact that you could build all of them, without exception).

I managed to get not just an S-rank, but an S+1 rank on one of the Gummi missions. Man that was a lot of medals and explosions....

Visited Atlantica, kinda ho-hum there. The rhythm minigame ain't going to be competing against DDR any time soon, but... well, I guess it's a cute diversion.

Saw Port Royale, the character graphics are pretty astounding there, then there's the zombie-pirate aspect of it. Barbossa gave me a bit of trouble because he kept killing Jack though....

Next stop? Agrabah and Halloween Town. The "highway" Gummi Levels en route were an absolute blast, it really felt like you were cruising down them at high speeds. Plus, the music.

Don't ask me. It was on a Level 3 mission, I just kept blasting away at anything that moved, I hit S-rank seemingly quick, and when all was done, I had earned an S+1.

S-rank is the highest rank that gives you a reward though, anything else is, I guess, just for bragging rights. I'll have to take another look at what course that was....

Anti-form is indeed a bitch. I accidently found a nice little cheat, though. If you go into your form BEFORE leaving a save place it wont put you in anti-form. If it does, just go right to the save point, leave the world, and come right back in. You'll have a nice full drive bar and you'll be back in regular form. (This works with any form, btw. very useful when leveling up forms to complete Jiminy's journal :ph34r: ) All I have left is summons, the Colusseum, and synthesis items....

The gummi ships were a LOT better this time around. I haven't gone back to replay any, but that's only because I don't have to. All I'm interested at this point is getting that secret ending. I NEEEEED it!!!1

That reminds me.

The Colusseum this time around really pissed me off. It was nice being able to go around the underworld and stuff, but the tournements were a major let down. I used to love to play hades tournement because it was like 50 rounds long.

Now it's just....pretty horrible. There really wasn't much of a difference in difficulty because of the handicaps either.

Yeah, true. I didn't like it much, especially the Titan round, prob'ly because I died. It was really hard against Nobodies all alone.

I finally got KH2! I am a happy girl now.
Haven't played for very long yet, I just got to the part where Yen Sid gives you the book to read.
The dual-wielding battle with Axel was [i]so[/i] fun.
I'm pretty impressed with the game so far. Reaction commands are funnnn!
I just can't stop laughing at Sora's shorts. They're so, well, [i]short![/i] He'd better get his new clothes soon, before I die laughing at him.

Plus, I never really liked his old costume, it seemed weird to me that a 14-yr-old male would wear a short jumpsuit-thing. The new one's much cooler, IMO.

I just spent two hours looking around Land of Dragons to get the two last items of that world so I can complete the journal... gah, sad, right?

I'm still trying to finish the bloody journal as well. Though I've had lack of time to play it lately. I realized that I like to use an abuse the reaction command against Nobodies. That reverse thing....yeah...I had a right fun time using it with Roxas the first time now I'm using it in the last the last world.

Yeah too bad Roxas (if you rearange the letters S-O-R-A-X Sora X) had too leave. Though Goofy died...at the one part. Too bad YOU DON'T GET TOO HAVE SIX PEOPLE TO CHOOSE FROM IN The last world (Sora, Goofy, Donald, Mickey, Roxas, Riku) Seph drives me insane.
I have Queen, King, and Ultimate recipies anyone need em i'll tell ya where they are............ and as for my forms ain't that good in my Standard, don't have a begineer, and for Proud- Valor- 6, Wisdom- 5, Master- 5, Final- 2. I just beat Xigbar so thats why Final's low. (it's hard to level up when you got a low drive gauge) For every Nobody defeated it gains 1 EXP. Y'KNOW WHAT FORM I HATE! Heartless Form (as I call it) you can't use spells, reactions (including talk and save) you can't heal yourself. One good thing it drops quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the final boss.....it's a real easy battle once you know what to do.
And I also found something...okay here it is.
You are in a room with a save point Max Hp 140 Max Mp 140. You have one Hp zero Mp (before Mp charge starts) what do you do to save time?
1. go to save point use reaction command save
2. exit save menu
Hp/Mp fully restored even if you're in that menu for a second!
