Sailor Moon. I saw it when I was around 7-8, then remembered it when I was 12 and looked it up online. Then my social life/everything else went away for about 2 1/2 years.

actually, According to wikipedia.com the Thundercats were created by Top Cat who later became Studio Ghibli.

OK... so it's an american animated television series (based on of course the artical you linked to to prove that it was an anime)... based on characters by someone who is also quite possable American (definatly not Japanese). The comic spinoffs of the series were both puplished by American publishing companies. So the animation was provided by a Japanese company? So what? All the original ideas and such came from Americans. Prove to me that all the original ideas and characters the series was based on actually came from a japanese guy, that it was developed by the Japanese, and prove that the the very first time Thundercats was shown ever was in Japan with Japanese voice actors and then I will call it an anime.

Until then Thundercats = american cartoon

First I saw Pokemon, Digimon Sailor Moon then Bubblegum Crisis all when I was like 6. Then Cardcaptors Sakura, Dragon Ball Z and Some other random anime when I was around 9. Then Yu-Gi-Oh, Duel Masters and then Beyblade when I was 11. And then FullMetal Alchemist and One Piece when I was 12. Well I still am 12 but I'm turning 13. I guess that counts......

First... pokemon when I was like... 6 in a hotel in like.... rome. We didn't get cable till I was 8. The first I really watched and liked was... Samurai X. My sister had imports.

um....i'd really like to know, because ever since i started watching TV i've been watching anime...but probably the first one was Sailor Moon. That was when I was about 3 or 4, so i don't really remember anything. The first whole series I've watched is...Cardcaptor Sakura. (still have the whole second season+2 movies at home)

My first anime shows were Card Captor Sakura, Shaman King, Salor Moon and DBZ. The first anime comic I read was Rayearth and Gravatation. ^_^
