I Need Help

I'm going to have some typ of test on my Englishclass next week.
and then I'm going to talk to the class about manga.

And I don't have much information,
so if you guys could tell me [b]everything[/b] you know about manga it would be great!

I'm just gonna ssume your class doesn't know much about manga. So you basically could say anything you want and they wouldn't know any different. Ohh, and bring a manga as a visual aid. You're set to go.

I agree with Red. Exept one thing: [i]Nobody in your class actually knows anything about manga, do they?[/i] You could ask around if you get really stuck, anyway. But before you go mad, I sugguest you look at that thing Dia ( diablis, I can call you that, right?) was showing. 'Wikipedia', was it? Well, I don't know what it is, but I'm sure it'll be helpful!

The first manga was written by Jackie Chan in 1492. It was about playing mah Jong and and tranforming into pretty sailor girls and finding dragon balls. That sounds like a good opening, doesn't it? They won't know any better.

Geez, Red! That's the greatest load of crap I've ever heard. It's funny, though! The only problem is, no one in their right mind would ever buy that..

i dont understand why this is here, but i'll give you every thing i know about manga

well, unlike anime, manga is either a graphic novel, which i think is a book, but has pictures. anyways, it was created believe it or not, by monks over 2000 years ago. it wasnt popular in more western countrys untill about the 1970s or 1960s (well thats anime) anyways, it is a book that is aproximently 100 pages long. you manga is mostly read the way the japanese read it (depending if its been fliped or not) and has more info about the seris than the anime.

WELL i cant think of anything more to say,,,, but i hoped it helped. anyways, for better source of info, just look it up on the internet!!

Seriously, if you wish to do a talk on manga bring in some really pretty (and school appropriate) manga. I just show them a couple volumes of Sailor Moon and some prints out by some other manga artsits. And tell them about how there are different genres (action, shojo...) Just focus more on the art of manga. I think that would be the easiest.
