I heard on the radio that Gorillaz broke up??? Surprised

Did I hear incorrectly or is this rumor just rubbish? Or is it true??

I have no idea, but they technically can't "break up" since they are essentially the pet project of Damon Albarn, unless he just doesn't feel like doing it any more.

And it was like, five years between the original album and Demon Days (not counting the b-sides releases and remixes), so who knows.

Damon said something to the effect that this might be their last album, but I think that's it. Plus, he's said that at least twice before this and nothing has happened yet. =/

Incorrect, they would have announced it on the gorillaz site, and no noodle didnt die in el manana as proved on the gorillaz forums (not that anyone asked) oh and will, i the album was called G-SIDES! not b-sides (even though they are technically b-sides)

I know it was called G-Sides. I wasn't naming the album, just listing what they did in between the original album and Demon Days (the b-sides releases and remix), you twit. Oh, and the DVD.

Ok, apparently Albarn said in an interview that he is not making another Gorillaz album because he doesn't think he could top Demon Days. But on the flip-side, Murdoc came on and essentially called Albarn a balless prick, so what they are actually doing is anyones guess. This might be like when they temporarily closed the site down under the guise that Kong Studios was under lock and key do to police orders.
