It shouldn't be fun to sit at a computer screen and watch a two-inch high pixilated person sit there and eat a sandwich, but it is. Addictingly so.

I finally got the game Sunday, and I don't think I moved from my chair until Tuesday morning. Is it a bad thing that I am mostly juts creating families to kill them off in the most horrid ways possible?

Small windowless room under the house that I use to create a living tomb for any Sim not pleasing me?

Got it.

Drown a small adopted child so I could sell her urn for cash?

Did it.

Throw a baby in a fire?

Tried it. The game won't let you, but I think I earn an A for effort on that one.

At any rate, I have decide it is a good thing that: A) I'm not God, and B ) Sims can't feel pain. Or can they? I sure hope so. Smile

Aww, you're so cruel! But I guess I'm more or less the same. I haven't played The Sims 2 on the computer yet, but I have it for the Playstation 2. I always kill off my Sims in that. <_< Do you have the Sims 2 for the PS2?
Oh, wait... I've watched my cousin play it on the computer before....

I have Sims 1 and watched my friend madly play Sims 2. She made me and some other friends in the college edition and made us streak. I tried to stop her...it didn't work. T_T

Anyways, killing Sims is fun! Burn them! I love that. :)

Gray made some Sims based on FAC members some time ago actually Maybe I'll try digging that thread up.

I was actually addicted to Sims 2 a while back for months @_@ It was scary. I downloaded so much stuff for that game it wasn't even funny.

I bought the game a few days after it came out, but unfortunately it had a lot of trouble running on my (old) computer. After I got this new one a month ago I tried it again and was addicted for um... four days. D:
I still play it occasionally, but it's really not as addicting as the first one was for me. I liked the family trees and aging a lot, though. As well as the ability to have a harem of maids, gardeners and repairmen. Mmmmm.

Yeah, I thought the first Sims was better. From what I've actually seen of The Sims 2, anyway. 'Cause, like I said, I've only watched that one...

The Sims 2 is a huge improvement over the original. Granted, the first one is still fun as hell, but I feel Sims 2 has more character and personality to it. The Sim customization tools are unmatched in terms of depth. Their interactions with each other even more enjoyable to watch, and there are tons of little nuances within the game that, once discovered, make you never want to leave your seat. It also looks a whole lot more pleasing to the eyes. The aging thing is a double-edged sword, because it means your Sims will eventually grow old and die. Thankfully, their are cheats and whatnot that negate this.

I've created Sims of myself and my brother, and have tried to make them resemble us in appearance and personality. I mostly just let them run amuck. I was not aware the "Romance" aspiration turned your Sim into a complete whore. My Sim version of me is a total slut. Sad

I play Sims 2 on the computer... One time my friend and I used cheats to turn both parents of this teenager into vampires and then kill them by making them stand outside (that is so funny to watch! Twisted Evil ) we then sent the teenager off to college which she got money for because her parents died! I like finding interesting ways to kill off Sims... killing them as vampires is entertaining though... try it! ^_^

I once rented it from a library and it was awesome! But sadly when I also rented and installed a few expansion packs, it took too much space made my computer too slow. But if I ever get a new and better computer, I'll most likely play this game again.
