Working In The Meat Department.

I got a job lined up. I'm good friends with the owner of the local skateshop. I'd probally work for free'cause the owners cool.

Or I'll work at the local music store.... or oppelmans.

Ha, I used to work at Superstore when I was in high school. I hated going to the meat department because the floor was so greasy and bloody. After walking through there, I would slipping and sliding for a while because my shoes were so greasy. Hopefully you will keep your meat department a lot cleaner than that. I worked in the fish department which wasn't all that great but at least I kept it clean.

Man XD Working at the meat department sounds like it really sucks.

But look at the bright side! At least the meat will never threaten to sue your company over a restocking fee, argue for a half hour about the return policy, insist you didn't return the tax on an item (even though the computer does it AUTOMATICALLY) or hurl a TV projecter at you : D (all of which have happened to me)

I tried to get a job working in a butcher shop back in my highschool dayze... because if you know me, you know I like slicing up dead things in my free time for souvenirs and curiosity's sake. Alas I was beaten to the punch and someone else got the job.

So instead I worked for the community cable channel designing non-profit long-term announcements and advertisements with a computer that was essentially a keyboard hooked up to a modem and was more or less like trying to design images with a graphing calculator. And I did some home-care stuff with a family that took in FAS foster kids.. about ten hours a week of that.

Other than that just summer jobs. A school janitor one year and a hydro gunt for two, soon to be three.

I can tell you this much about janitorial work- cleaning desks in a K-12 school is not fun. In an afternoon you might finish 25 high school desks, 12 middle school desks, or two primary school desks. You have no idea what kind of s**t those seven-year-olds hide in there.
