I just finished reading Sabriel last Sunday, but I've been too overloaded with homework to start Libreal or whatever the next one is called. I was really excited to start reading it, but now that a little time has passed it doens't look as appealing. . . . .

Beowulf.

Ugh....I HATE THAT POEM.

Epic poems suck. Don't go into Honors English.

"The Laughing Corpse" by Laurell K. Hamilton. It is the third book in her Vampire Hunter series. Pretty good. Very violent and graphic but I can deal with that. Also reading "The Woman Warrior" by Maxine Hong Kingston. I am trying to balance my "fun" reading with productive reading as well. Bleh...

I have been waiting a long time to get my hands on this book.

It's a let down so far Sad Maybe I'm just not so much into cats now.

I just finished "Moonrise" from Warriors: The New Prophecy by Erin Hunter.

I much prefer the original Warriors to the New Prophecy... NP is all about romance, where as Warriors actually had a plot. Seriously, their cats. Who cares who they fall in love with? It's not even hot. D:

And wtf Feathertail, wtf.

Agreed. I didn't even think that Da Vinci was even well written. I found it boring and bleh.

I just finished reading the Metamorphisis by Katka. Eh. I feel sorry for Gregor because he IS turned into a giant cockroach thing, but I can't quite relate to him...

I've been feeling philisophical lately. I bought Plato's The Republic, the Qu'ran, The Merchant of Venice, Electra, and Dante's Inferno.

The Merchant of Venice is so Shakespeares best. Romeo and Juliet? The Taming of the Shrew? Utter crap when you read Merchant. I loved this book beacause I thought a: the characters were deeper and more complex, and b: I love Shylock. He's such an asshole, but you really can't blame him.

Electra was good as well. It's a lot more depressing than Oedipus Rex, but I still really liked it. Sure, all Electra did was complain about her mother killing her father, but it was very well done overall.

Don't kill me because I like Shakespeare and Socrates. Please. Sad

Just finished .hack//AI Buster. <3 Loved it. It amused me how they talked about how imprecise translating books into engilsh is, in a book that was translated into engilsh. I didn't really get the ending, i may have to read it again, buuut... ^_^

Makes me want to play MMORPGS.

Shizuko's Daughter - Kyoko Mori

Its a very interesting book, quite melancholic, but truly engaging.

The Scar by China Mievielle or something along the lines of that last name. Kinda dark.

Tithe is an amazing book. One of my favorites.
