Anyway, some Wii pre-E3 news goodness!

When Nintendo previously said "we have not revealed everything there is to know ... about the controller", apparently this means:[list][*]The remote includes [b]its own speaker[/b]. (Ars Technicana article listing some possibilities)[*]The "nunchuck" add-on has its own positional sensors.[*]There is a two-handed, "classic" style control unit that can be plugged into the remote in lieu of the nunchuku stick. i like the white color, i really hate how the ps2 is black and hard to see even in light. i think, from the pics, its the best looking console yet, looks verry niice Very Happy

Then you gotta check out IGN. In addition to the Wii version of Twilight Princess, there is also rumors of a "Duck Hunt Wii", using a "light gun" shaped shell attachment; it connects with the remote itself serving as the "gun"s barrel.

News is there's a 4+ hour line to the Nintendo booth at E3.

I think they should use the lightgun for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

I've been reading up on the news too. The new Super Smash Bros. game (SSB "Brawl") will use the standard GCN controller instead of the Wii Remote.

Confirmed (new) playable fighters include:
- Wario
- Meta Knight (Kirby universe)
- Pit (Kid Icarus)
- Snake. Yes, from MGS. And yes, complete with the cardboard box.

Other confirmed characters include Zero Suit Samus and (potentially Twilight Princess) Link.

Snake is a third-party character, and rumors are that he might not be the only one appearing... anyone want to bet that Sonic might also end up playable?

Sorry, but it looks like Strata has E3 on the brain right now.

The only problem I see with adding 3rd party characters in, is the somewhat out of place presence they might bring in. But other than that, i'm all for it. Pit looks REAL kickass in it. Here's the movie: SSBB
