I actually like Tim Burton's art. It's dark and ironic stuff :3

I like how he draws his characters always looking so....pathetic. Like his illustrations in 'The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories'. They're all sketchy and grim =)

I've always been a fan of
Dali
M.C. Escher
Christian Reise Lassen
Wyland (his first work I saw is the mural in my hometown ^-^)

And just recently I was introduced to Ron Mueck

Are we talking about artist's right now? Because if that's the case, Salvador Larocca is one of my all-time favorites. That guy's an awesome artist. Along with a bunch of other comic book artists, but he really stands out.

If we're talking about historical artists, I have no clue. Van Gogh has some nice artwork.

Fernando Amorsolo. He developed a signature style which represents my country's "persona" and lifestyle. A traditional artist, he is. And I salute him for that.

The artist I currently have my eyes on is Bleedman from deviantart(the PPG and Grim Tales Doujin author), or Vinzon Ngo, if you're wondering what his real name is. He is a graduate of Fine Arts from University of San Carlos, Talamban Branch here in Cebu, Philippines. You're probably wondering now why I' know so much about him. Eh?

It's because I know his number and where he lives! Razz Bleedman fans, be jealous!!! Razz Razz Blehhh!!

Serously, he's a great inspiration to me.

My favorite artist would have to be Jim Lee. I learned how to draw poses, head shots, even muscle definition because of him. He is a legend and icon in the comic book industry. Now japanese artist, I'd have to say Saigado. The drawings are just amazing. I learned how to draw women because of Saigado.

I'm not really sure who my favorite artists are. I have so many. :/ Especially on dA. Tunaferit, Hbruton, AyameFataru, Anry (who has myteriously disappeared...), Shirotsuki, ellaine... gawd, just to name a few. :/

I also admire a lot of the classic artists, especially those from the Renaissance.

But the two people that I think inspire my own art style the most are Takeshi Obata and Shadowivy (dA). You can see a lot of influences from their styles in mine.

Oh, I somehow ran into Tskuji Nao's work one time and I'm in love with. The detail, color, poses, everything is just absolutely beautiful.
But, I don't have one artist in particular cause I appreciate many many different styles.

Of all time, Disney.
As for now, Albert Uderzo, the illustrator of Asterix comics, is the greatest artist alive.
Glen Keen's work is very admirable too in Disney animations! Wink

I think mine would have to be the person who draws the pictures for the vampire hunter D novels. The way they are drawn then inked makes them simple looking but hold emotion well.

Matt Stawicki.

The way that man handles paint, real media and digital, is just amazing. You look at his stuff and it looks like a photograph and a painting at the same time, unless it's one of his sketchier paintings, in which case there's lots of pretty brush strokes to look at.

Walt Disney, Naoko Takeuchi, Van Gogh, and Carravaggio are a few of my most favorite; can't narrow it down to just one.

I really don't know too many artists, but recently, I stumbled upon the works of Ayami Kojima, the artist for Castlevania. :D

I can't help but love her style and touch...
This is my all-time favorite piece by her:
