YOU LOVE IT. You know you do.

More people should draw PB pictures. But then I see the rare one that's not by her or myself, and it sucks so much ass I retract that statement. In theory they shoud. So if you're reading this and you don't suck, go draw some PB stuff. Like...now. Preferably Abruzzi, he gets no love. And is easier to draw than Robert without royally fucking up.

To continue the art loving, given that this is an art site (I'd nearly forgotten, I'm so good about updating... ), I used Brian as my Hades in my Hades/Persephone final project for my painting elective. And it was delightful. It's prettier in person (especially the blue/pink/purple skin tone omgsopretty), and is slightly unfinished due to my not going to class two weeks in a row and missing the updated instructions that there would be NO work time on the last day, BUT ANYWAY, it's pretty anyway.

The neck is really the only thing not finished on him. Persephone got the short end of the stick.

Abruzzi, just for fallen. Too bad he looks more like Bellic then Abruzzi (well i did it from memory <_<, what do you expect?) Whatever, i read the last comment durring my free and then drew it in Dr. Monotone's Dickens seminar. I'll make a good one later, i didn't even get to fully erase the basic lines. ^_^ yummy.

edit: i think the brightness/ contrast thing on my scanner should be taken out on the street conrer and shot, then has it's limp, non-existant body pulled around town behind horses with severe blatter problems.

Yaaaaay.

More people need to draw Cherry too. I think Cristina's only posted one. And I never finished one. Poor Seth. He's screwed no matter what.

The Teddy/Maytag picture is so pretty on my wall. Some guy came to check the A/C while I was in class, my gay pseudo-smut must have been lovely.

Forgot Diminutive Pretty... Awww.

I don't think any other show has ever made me so...completely and utterly a;hafwn'fw'hgwhogwhib.

Adrenaline is fun.

mmm ballsy Michael
I could do without seeing the big gash in Westmoreland...
T-Bag/Abruzzi staring...love
Sucres such a pussy.
lolz fat jokes are always funnier when you sing them
If Abruzzi whacked Veronica...omgbestplotever
LMAO poor Manche gettin a boot to the ass. Age before beauty lolz
stfu bellick. Aww Teddy always takes care of the dirty work. Tweener couldnt really punch nobody. And have I mentioned RKs faces roxxorz?
I think...making Sara a drug addict...actually made her a worse character. Its a completely separate storyline. Bleh.
lol I wanna be cast as a crazy extra.
Michael looks good in Bellicks big gay jacket
lmao thats the best guard ever. And Teddy packs more of a punch than he should too.
and FINALLY Nick goes away. Bliss...
I fuckin KNEW it was Haywire.
Teddys way smaller than Linc, and he bends the pipe?
Manche, u suck

Anyone who says T-Bag's overrated liiiiiiiies. C'mon, they're breaking out and he's still the funniest character and gets the job done. I still really hate Tweener. I don't think I can even like him in a "poor thing" way like Cherry. He's just a douchebag.

One more till fall. *cries*

Yaaaay Haywire!

Awww old guy :'(

Hahahaha fat guy.

And that's basically my review of the episode.

New Sarah, complete with deer-in-headlights expression and random crying action!

Was this the first time they ever mentioned the drugs? Neutral First I've seen, and if they were going to bring it up at all, they should at least try to incorperate it into the plot. But instead, they just add it in as an afterthough. "Oh yeah, before we finish the season, she likes drugs."

I missed the first 7 minutes though. I forgot it was Monday. Sad What happened at the beginning?

Dun dun dun!

Opinions on ep 21?

- Haywire still rocks. Very Happy
- You never expected Westmoreland to make it out, yet he livened things up. You see their faces when he said "$5 million"? Screw the wire, they were ready to jump the wall.
- T-Bag booting Manche was class.
- Tweener going down in the lift seemed like some big sacrifice. Then he comes back. Lol.
- Think Abruzzi's gonna have a car waiting? Or are they just gonna have to leg it? And when's he gonna pick his moment?

They brought it up in the flashback episode Brother's Keeper. She worked at a hospital and stole morphine. Then took a break from doctoring. Then went to a support group where she met Bellick and ended up at Fox River.

The thing I hate about it is it's so separate from everything else, which makes it pointless. The fact she is/was a morphine addict has nothing to do with anyone but herself, and as a rather minor support character, there's no need to make a big deal about it any more than if T-Bag were a drug addict. Doesn't matter. The PB writers really just suck at writing women. Veronica isn't any better, dumb as a brick, no common sense. LJ is more reasonable and well thought out than she is. The morphine thing seems like a complete last minute attempt at characterization.

The whole idea of Michael being hot for the doctor bothers me anyway, let alone the cheesy writing, but the morphine thing...ugh. Given more screen time, I'm sure Maricruz would be just as one dimensional.
What happened at the beginning?
Depends on how much you missed. Michael had his spiffy shank, threatened Pope, told him to have Linc transferred to the infirmary, tied him up, gagged him, put him in the closet, and whacked him on the head. Called the joke hotline and told Pope's secretary he was in a conference call and didn't want to be disturbed.

Then some more anxious preparing.
- Tweener going down in the lift seemed like some big sacrifice. Then he comes back. Lol.
Yeah. Razz Although that smug little look on his face was more like "see, I can help too"

Aw, Rob's almost as long winded as I am. An interview answered through email somewhere.

Q) What are the current projects that you are working on?

A) I am helping to form the life of my beautiful, almost four year old boy, which is the biggest project of my life right now. I am on hiatus and totally enjoying it after spending almost a year away of super intense work. T-Bag is not the sweetest guy to play and is the one of the most intense characters on television. I am relaxing and then I go back to work playing T-Bag, which is hard work. It takes up a lot of time, but Ill have time for other stuff while Im working. Right now, I didnt want to do something I didnt want to do. I turned down some things because I am having fun with my wife and my family.

Q) Tell us about your character T-Bag on the show Prison Break.

A) People who watch the show have been very attune to understanding the life of T-Bag. That is, hes not a one-dimensional character. Hes not just the bad guy. Lets not kid ourselves, though, he is a bad guy. He can be pure evil, but hes not crazy. Hes had a lot of problems in his childhood, not the least of which is what Bellick [played by Wade Williams] brought up to everyones attention in the episode when we rioted against the guards. He said in front of everybody, Your Daddy did his mongoloid sister and out came Teddy nine months later. Not only is that horrific to bring up in front of other people, but its horrific to live with your whole life knowing that your dad is such a screw up. A lot of dads are screw-ups by maybe leaving home or abusive at home, but the wonderful thing about drama is that you can create these things. I am sure, somewhere in history or somewhere in time, someone really did have a father (hopefully, in a real rural country area) that did his mongoloid sister and then they had children. To have to grow up with that is a nightmare. How Ive always played Teddy is a child that is standing outside his porch (which is a similar way to how I grew up when I was a little boy [my sister and I had nothing in common with the Bagwell family]) and when Easter came up you put on your finest suit and a hat. Girls were wearing little Easter dresses, bonnets and shoes. I imagine Teddy standing on the porch of a beaten down house (maybe there is not too much paint on the walls and most of it is coming off) and hes got this big toothless smile on his face because hes going to get by. You have to pretend everything is okay and you have to survive. In the midst of all of this chaos and his upside down life of which he was a part of (and he had no choice in the matter), this is how he grew up and this was his childhood. Of course he was going to get picked on, of course he is going to resort to violence, of course he was going to be in and out of juvenile detention homes (and probably foster homes). As early as he can remember, hes been in and out of jail. I have said this in the press (Some of them said, Yeah, right!) that I feel for T-Bag. Ive gotten so many letters from fans that said, When I first started watching the show, I hated you. Now, I still hate you, but I feel for you some how. Thats exactly where the writers went with it and I went with it. I never want to dismiss this guy and convince the viewing public that hes an angel. There is no way! Whats fascinating about him is that hes that train wreck that you love to watch that is about to happen and he is somebody you know. Hes a real person! There is not a person alive that does not have many different sides to them. Thats called being a human being (which is what I realized about getting older). You just realize that everybody is capable (or in this case doing) horrible things, but at the same time you go, Oh my gosh, he is so charismatic! He has a brain! Hes so funny! He can put a sentence together! Hes not a one-dimensional cartoon character that goes, Hey, Im from the South. I am going to talk like this! And everybodys going to think Im stupid! Oh boy, I hate black people! Hes not that guy at all. Ive never played him like that ever, since the beginning. I thought if I did, I would have a short life on this show. You knock those guys off in one episode; theyre called guest stars. You get a one shot deal and thats it. The part was originally written, I think, for a guy who was 240 pounds with a gold tooth! But, all of the other elements of the character are still there, the racism, pedophilia and all those things could have just made him become a character you hate so much that he could be quickly kick them out the door. I tried to play him smart, cunning and a true survivor; just the same way he had to survive when he was a little kid. Thats someone you have to deal with and is not going to very easily go away. Ive had several technical advisors on our show, who are actual prison guards, say, Oh yeah, I totally know the T-Bag in our prison. There is a T-Bag in every prison. Be ware of the T-Bag because these guys are very cunning. They will lure you in, be so sweet to you, they can get anything out of you and then before you know it, youre turning around going, Wheres my wallet? I, honestly, just let that guy walk down that hall in the restricted area! Hes that charming.

Q) How did you prepare for your role?

A) I had no time! T-Bag was not in the pilot, but was in the first episode (which was technically the second episode) and I read for it. When you audition for a part, you do a little bit of research on it. What I've learned over the years is that it is better to get a gut feeling about it and go for it. Then, when you get the part, you really dive in and do more of the research part. I got the part on a Friday, flew to Chicago on a Sunday and I started shooting on Tuesday. All I had to go on were my instincts and a hunch about the dialect that I wanted to work with and the Alabama accent. I had a hunch about how I wanted to walk and slither. Once I got to Joliet Prison, the whole character came together. I felt like, I want to put on a plain white t-shirt, I want to become animalistic (I think he's a very primal, animalistic being. How my hair is, how I slither my tongue and how I play with a word all became sort of this animal that was a rooster, mixed with a lizard and mixed with a panther. That's all I really had to go on. That's basic 101 acting. A lot of us do it when we were in school. The rest sort of took care of itself!

Q) What is your most memorable moment from filming?

A) Two things stand out for me. The first is when I am with Peter Stormare (who plays Abruzzi) and I slash his throat. That was a very emotional scene for the both of us! When we were done with it, we felt very close to each other. We were like two athletes that had run the distance together. We turned to each other and said, "That was like being back at the Public Theater." The Public Theater is a place that he and I both worked at in New York that is one of the few theaters that still tries to do Shakespeare. We really felt like you had a scene to be working on. Another moment that I have fond memories of, which isn't even one particular moment, is when Wentworth and I really connect with each other because there is an amazing power there. Even though I'm playing the bad guy and he's playing the good guy, I feel for him! As an actor, to know what you are going through as a character...for instance, the scene which ended the fall season and sort of began the spring season...where Wentworth is trying to get the pipe free and he says, "I can't do it! I can't do it!" I think he's about to cry and I can't take any of this so I pull out a knife and say, "Come on, pretty, you've got to. That ain't gunna' happen. You're gunna' get us out of here." I get into him and see right into him. That's a general thing, but I feel that more with him than with anyone else.

Q) What is a day of filming the show "Prison Break" like for you?

A) There is a lot of joking around and trying to break out of prison. There is one beautiful thing about it was the entire day while I was in Chicago this past year...my wife and I had a dilemma on our hands because we wanted to keep our child here in LA in preschool (so that's why they didn't come to Chicago). Someone I talked to suggested I keep some kind of ritual for him, which would be something I should do routinely. I came up with this idea of coming up with a cartoon drawing every day. So, in one moment, I am slitting an actor's throat, another I'm slitting black actors with a razor blade, another moment I am getting up behind a young innocent boy and figuring out how I am going to seduce him or another moment I am thinking about having to sleep with the transsexual guy, but meanwhile anytime I have a break I am sketching out a sweet little cartoon for my boy. It was kind of a fun routine to have. There is nothing like driving home and thinking about calling your little boy because it helps you knock out those feelings of T-Bag and it's very therapeutic.

Q) Is there anything you think fans would surprised to learn about T-Bag?

A) Fans will be surprised as I am when I first read it. Because I am constantly surprised. I am surprised and then I sort of have to not be since I have to play the part. I enjoy watching the show just as much as I love doing it.

Q) Will viewers get a chance to learn more about T-Bag's history in season 2?

A) Thats a great question. The great thing about this show is that it is a character driven show and a plot driven show. There are such rich characters in the midst of a do or die plot scenario. The characterization for each of us are so strong because of the writing that when you are now dealing with first, getting out of prison and second, once you get out of prison, you have to survive so you dont get caught and go back to prison (going back to the nightmare you were living in) or be killed. You cant help, but walk into a plot. You dont have much time to reflect. I think when you do have time to reflect, you are able to learn more and more about the character. You have time to think about the character and who you are, as opposed to what you are doing, and that helps you give the audience more insight into who you are and not if you are so caught up in thinking, "Oh my gosh I have to survive," (which is with any character and human being since no one wants to die). Who knows? I don't even know! I don't get the scripts until they do them and I don't even want to know ahead of time! I am always wonderfully shocked by everything that they write for me.

Q) You've been on TV, in movies and on stage. Is there anything else you would like to try your hand at?

A) I'd like to be a doctor. My dad is a vet, but I don't want to do that because I think I'd be better at working as a physician.

The milk crate one? The couch one is my new desktop, oh yes it is. But they're both equally good, to me. But the second has leather, so...it wins.

I like Manche too, in the same way I like Sucre. He's so stupid. And was a good straight man for T-Bag while he lasted.

It's awesome, the whole morphine and leaving the infirmary unlocked thing has started to turn Michael/Sara fans against the good doctor. W00t! "omg I can't believe she did that!!!!" They're finally starting to realize what a weak, shallow character she is.

Although I agree with them that she won't be too happy when she realizes who else she let out. Laughing

and that's not really, really suspicious

you know leaving early, then coming back, leaving the door unlocked on the day that just so happens to be the same day the con, whom others have noticed she was friendly with, excapes.

oh yeah, real bright.

Edit: in the couch picture he looks smug, in a not so awesome way

Huh. I suppose there is a bit of that vibe, but the "I am a god" attitude was kinda required for 80s glam boys, so I don't even notice it anymore. But he's so un-hollywood (lolz smoking in the lobby when the award was announced and accepting it with untucked shirt and tie undone) and un-cocky... I have no idea what I'm saying, I just like the leather picture better. Looks more scheming than smug to me. I have a tendency to like the arrogant assholes, though (Now Peter...he's the cocky bastard of the bunch).

It's funny 'cause...right before going out for PB...RK put in an application to clean toilets in this park outside LA. Which is just sad. Guess you can't live off a couple guest star law and order-esque roles every year, who knew.

And softcore Playboy flicks.

I wouldn't have minded Sara leaving the door unlocked quite so much (not that I ever thought she wouldn't) if it had been for Linc. But they made it completely seem like she was doing it for Michael. If it was to save an innocent man fine, and the bit with her father was a start, but there was too much "...omg plz sara i swear i wanted 2 b wit u, jus do this for me k?"

Poor LJ, left out of the story till everything calms down. I need my diminutive pretty back. Unfortunately, when/if they all split up, the best characters are gonna get the short end of the stick. They'll become the new Nick/Veronicas. Boo.

The president has his speech tonight. <_<

But yeah. Try not to post comments until it's aired on the west coast (9:20 pacific, 12:20 eastern) , I don't think I'm the only one over here anymore.

poor charles
Bellicks huntin convicts...lolz
T-Bag/Abruzzi with guns and handcuffs...yay.
on second thought, yay for T-Bag cuffed to Michael too. Such a smart boy
Tweener ruins EVERYTHING
you got a foul mouth sometimes, pretty. love.
ya know, theres this police helicopter thats been circling right outside for the last half hour with its light on. Over the golf course across the street. Weird.
C-Note was cooler when you thought he was a badass. Now hes just a pussy.
LMAO the car engine was priceless
Aw, Haywire apologizing was just....guh
Hand cutting is so not cool. Neither is crying!T-Bag unless it's about James and James Jr. Love that Sucre felt for him, though.
ugh, sara is so weak. Typical. Oh saviors are gonna be pissed... She also suffers a bit from Maytag Syndrome, looking prettier unconscious than ever
lol Teddy just dont give up. Love. Funniest. Running. Ever. That bloody shirt aint quite as nice as the riot bloody shirt, though. Sad Still...can't expect him to stay whimpering on the floor.
heh oh shnap, the plane!
Ok. Theyve been running for miles. The cops havent. Good odds. But if anyone didnt see that comin, theyre idiots.

Even though I've known about it for awhile....noooooo, bad Abruzzi bad. He never cut your head off. And yet, at the same time, so much  for that. Bickering between those two never gets old. It was about time the old Abruzzi came back. And I don't even really care that he hurt T-Bag. What I care about is, hypothetically, if he were to survive free or recaptured...nub makeup sucks. Although he'd be wicked bandaged for awhile.

I don't care so much about the lost hand as the potentially lost plot. Even if it'd be peanuts compared to Michael/Linc. It'd be something.

Robert has nice hands. Sad

Not having Sara proved how GREATLY improved the show is without her angsty scenes with blank expressions of blankness. Even Veronica was kinda tolerable, although greatly drawn out for what it was.

Christ I miss LJ.

It doesn't seem like it's been only one season. Then again, being FOX, it's twice as long as most other shows I watch. So much has happened it's like...guh. Man...imagine the show had Peter not come back and Abruzzi died. Madness. Worse, had Rob not auditioned and instead cleaned park toilets while some 250lb biker with a gold tooth played T-Bag for one episode like originally planned. So sad.

DVD just in time for fall season. Mm. As Rob runs back to Chicago to continue bleeding all over next month.

Anyway. Yes. Season finale love. Probably close to the best episode plot/interest-wise, but I doubt anything will really compare to Riots/Drills and Odd Man Out for me.

I have to go write a novel with people who care now. lolz

I am very very sad, cause I just realized I'm not going to be in the country for the start of the next season. Which means I will wither away and die.

EXCITING EPISODE EY??? I thought so too. I'm glad Sarah is dead (and she'd damn well better not come back to life), but I'm so not looking forward to emo Michael when he finds out what happened to her.

Hate to say it, but that possible DOA, well....isn't much of a mystery. . . . . And I hate that. Because it's gonna be EXTRA angsty in the fall.

Stupid woman, why won't you just die.

I love when Bellick gets his shotgun. It's so excessive. Slightly more appropriate this time as opposed to Linc's escape, but still...

I'm still so torn about the hand, and I don't know why. I keep thinking "you can't look cool in a t-shirt with one hand (mostly because makeup/prosthetics does not allow for it)" but it's not like they have to wear the prison blues anymore. He could work around the one hand thing.

Anyone other than Abruzzi, not cool. But since it's John...super cool.

I'm already tired of people nitpicking, and it aired all of three hours ago. STFU! The whole show is unrealistic, dumbfuck. You've got a super genius breaking his brother out of death row when he's put there by a secret organization. The fact they're running their asses off from cars and dogs is the least of the realism concerns.

I just had a thought...John cut off Teddy's left hand! Nooooooo. That was the pocket hand. FUCKER. And the hand with the tattoo around his middle finger drawn in ball point pen 'cause Rob thought T-Bag needed a tattoo. Couldn't have been the right one. <_<

Well there we have it. Episode 22.... Very Happy

- I so wanted it to end nicely. Sad I should have known better though.
- T-Bag's hand? Never saw it coming, but Abruzzi's expression afterwards is great. You can see the satisfaction.
- I expected Steadman to look a little more.. I dunno..weathered.
- Totally didn't see the President thing coming. Surprised
- Haywire meeting the little girl. Creepy, till he took the bike.
- Tweener eh? Who would've thought it?
- Bellick looked so cool. Man on a mission style. "Get me my shotgun."
- Sara? When I saw the cops at the door, I took a guess. I was right. Think an empty bottle would've completed the picture nicely though. ^_^
