hey all

a movie called united 93.

is about the people on the third plane to be hi jacked on 9/11.

this still might be a touchy subject with people. and people may want to watch it.

i do think its a good idea that we should watch it to commemorate the lives that were lost b/c of

osama bin laden. that bastard. he is going to get it coming. whatever IT may be

discuss

here's the trailer all

I'm seeing that movie today. My boyfriend and I were going to see American Haunting but we read some reviews about it and it looks like its gonna suck. But we heard nothing but good things about this movie so we're gonna see it while our parents and brothers and sisters go see American Haunting.

They didn't want to watch the movie with us 'cuz they said it would be like too soon and just too depressing. Kind of like watching Titanic even though you know everyone is going to die in the end.

Its gonna be a heartbreaking film of course but maybe its time to move on from mourning and start to honor the heros from that day. Like the people on the 93 flight for example. But still, I'm bringing some Kleenex 'cuz I know I'll be bawling my eyes out by like halfway through the movie. :(

I'll let you guys know if its worth the Kleenex and the movie price.

I said I'd give a review and here's what I got from it.

First of all, its a wonderful movie. Camera angles are excellent, acting is convincing and realistic and the emotions..oh my God the emotion in this movie just pulls at as if your heart is a puppet and the movie is the puppetier.

I didn't cry as much as I thought I would. In fact, I found myself like a lot more angry if anything. A lot of people in the theater were too. I noticed a lot of clenched fists in the audience (including my own) when the terrorists on 93 began to take over the plane and kill the pilots and passengers. The terrorists are just like this prescence that you want to take by the throat and strangle with your bare hands. It was something I never felt before, like a justified hatred of another human being (if there is such a thing.)

The hardest part to watch is the ending, no doubt about it. But not just because of the final outcome. Its because you forget that they're going to die. When the passengers were beating the terrorists and breaking their necks with their bare hands, people in the theater were cheering them on and saying "You can do it! Thats it! You're almost there!" You really start to believe that they're going to come out of this alive. And just when you think they're going to make it, they don't. Sad Its over as soon as you get your hopes up and its absolutely heartbreaking.

I don't think I've ever gone through such a quick mood swing. In literally less than a minute I went from being excited and smiling ear to ear to depressed and crying on my boyfriend's shoulder.

Excellent movie nonetheless. Phil (my boyfriend) says that its going to win awards. I think so too. Its just so good. :)

I miss you too. Sad I haven't been on YIM in like almost half a year. Its really sucky but I've been like really busy with school and Phil and other things. Like this weekend, I have a baseball tournament, a school dance, school musical and a history test.

But I wanna come back. Someday I will.

Yeah I know what you mean by that I must say I felt quite an uproar of pleasure when the passengers retaliated. Felt like watching Miracle or Iron Will. I have to say this movie was well done aside from the fact that we already know the outcome Sad

The one thing that scared me was how seemingly unorganized we looked and how many people did'nt beleive any of the hijacking when it took place.

Man, it was...most heartbreaking... Sad I mean, you already know what's going to happen, and still, you have that feeling that you want to do something about it...but you cant. The movie's key moments just simply make your heart stop. The extreme emotins take over your body like fire in a building. To my surprise, I felt more angry than sad. Stupid terrorists!!! Grr! Osama even said that his comrades are heroes and they have saved themselves from the tyranny of America. How passionate. Makes me want to strangle him Grr! !!!

Wow, the acting was perfect, and you barely even see familiar faces of famous celebrities. Makes for a great documentary movie. If I were to rate it I'd give it a 10.

*sigh*Nevertheless, the 40-ish passengers and crew were heroes. They deserve a big salute for that. Whoa, they were really determined during the climax!! I wish all people are that courageous. . . . . . The fact that they didnt make it was the second hardest part for me, whilst the hardest part, or parts were the moments when they called their loved ones. Truly a heart-stopping movie, and I loved it. Smile This should be filmed even 10...or 20 years later.
